  1. Thanks for the heads up Mykill...I have my AAS in Resp. Therapy now and have been working as an RRT for 5 years. I was going to try and get my ADN as fast as possible from CSCC or something then do my BSN online from Kent or somewhere...that's the tentative plan anyway. I figure I should be able to pull it off in a couple years...lol

  2. Radiology jobs are out there just not like they used to be. When I was getting interviewed at one of the hospitals I work for now I was BSing with the HR guy interviewing me about sign on bonuses and whatnot. He just laughed when I brought that up and said they don't have to do that anymore because they have people lined up to take jobs where as even 5 years ago they had to actively recruit people for positions. He then went on to tell me about the surplus of RT's (Rad. Tech's) looking for work in and around the Columbus area. Even in my field as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, the jobs just aren't there like they used to be...which is why I have been seriously considering going back for my RN. Check on hospital websites...like Ohio Health, Mount Carmel, etc. If she can find a job and get her foot in the door in any of these hospitals then she can have an inside line to all of the hospital positions posted internally and move around to the place she wants to be. Also, believe it or not I found a sweet home care gig on Craigslist that I used to work per diem and make pretty good cash, so consider places like that as well. My first job out of college I was offered due to a posting on Monster.com...lot's of different avenues to travel. Networking is the key, the more people you know and the more connections you make the easier it is to find that dream job.

  3. Pryor has a addiction to peanut butter and poodles. :sicko:

    :nono:

    LMAO...that's a bad mental picture.

When I said JT was taking the heat I meant because he covered for those players which made him an accomplice. As the head football coach of course the majority of critisism will land on him. I'm not saying what he did was right or anything...but I can see why he did it, trying to save those kids a bunch of grief. It just happened to backfire and now they are all catching a lot of grief from everyone. I don't think he did it because the team would suffer without Pryor & them...I agree that we would play just fine without them. I truly believe that he had the players best interest at heart.

  4. That's just it...they are making an example of OSU and JT. I'm sure it goes on all over the country...especially at the big name schools. What the "5" did was wrong...doesn't matter how long it has been going on. Whether JT knew about it all along is another story..I honestly think he may have had some idea at the end, but without launching an internal investigation there was no way to prove one way or the other. I think he it taking the heat for those guys so they can hopefully salvage some kind of reputable pro career after all of this crap is settled. Oh well I guess Michigan will have no excuse this year when we stomp their asses since we both had our coaches shitcanned. I still respect JT and hope he does well with whatever comes his way next.

  5. I am sad to see Coach Tressel go, as I stated elsewhere he shouldn't have turned a blind eye to the mistake those players made. As a coach looking out for his players (or as a parent looking out for their kids) you don't want to see them get hurt and/or throw their career down the drain for a stupid mistake...over an even stupider set of NCAA rules...so he covered their asses and the universities ass. I still and always will have the utmost respect for Coach Tressel...and I hope he finds success in his next gig. Don't even get me started on the "5" players though....grr.

  6. And they aren't going to stop until the NCAA systematically dismantles our entire football program. Such a fucking crock of shit. I'm sooo pissed at those dickbags (Pryor & co.)for costing OSU the best coach in the BIG 10. If anyone should have been thrown out (or encouraged to resign...whatever) it should have been the players that violated the stupid NCAA rules, not Coach Tressel. Coach was running damage control trying to save the intergrity of the university...and Gee threw him under the bus. Granted he shouldn't have turned a blind eye to what his guys did, but he was trying to protect them from what is happening now.

  7. Well I just got back from my solo ride down 41' date='73,772,104 as posted earlier.

Good time, no real traffic on my route, saw zero cops and only a handful

of cruisers on 41 and a couple on 104, didn't see any other bikes on 772.

Road conditions... 41 was almost perfect except for the first mile or two south of Bainbridge,

kinda rough thru there. 73 beautiful (that road always is). 772 on the other hand,

lots of gravel in EVERY one of the 20 and 15mph turns, all the other turns on 772 were clean.

Total miles start to finish.... 210, with the bike getting 53mpg today.

Time to go mow the grass :nono:[/quote']

I would like to hit that route sometime...next time you are headed out that way hit me up if you want someone to go with ya!!

  8. Someone really needs to do something about this "you can only email once every 120 minutes" deal lol. It makes it kinda rough to collaborate plans for a ride without taking over a thread lol.

That goes away after 50 posts I believe...that's to keep spammers away.

  9. Well I WAS gonna ride at 1pm but looks like I missed the boat, time was changed...hope you guys had a good ride. That's what I get for not checking the thread for a day lol. Headed out solo later from Marysville if anyone wants to meet up this afternoon for a quick ride post up.

  10. I hope you take up one of these offers Ringo, that is a beautiful dog and she deserves a good home. If you do end up keeping her...then invest in an obedience class for the two of you. I did one of these (mine was once a week for 3 months) for my last dog because she was aggressive (Rotweiller/Lab mix) and when the class was over I knew how to handle her and she knew how I expected her to behave. I still can't believe the $500 rescue deal, my current dog is a pure bred Black Lab and all I had to cover was the $150 adoption fee which included shots and neutering. Hope you do the right thing either way.

  11. TWC Road Runner 10Mbps (used to be the 7 but it was upgraded in April), no complaints for internet or online gaming. The only thing is that with speed tests I have noticed during different parts of the day my service varies by A LOT speed wise.
