What this doesn't show is that I got let off for speeding, no proof of insurance, and illegal window tint with this stop too.

  2. Well my little Ninja 250R is going to a good home, so I am picking up a 2005 Kawasaki Z750s this weekend to be her replacement. The bike is lowered..front and back...and I am wanting to get it put back to stock height as I am taller and bigger than the previous owner. I already ordered a set of used OEM links for the back to replace the lowering links and from what I understand there will be no new parts needed to lift the front back up. So my question is there anyone on here semi-local to me (Columbus/Marysville) that could lend a hand (I really have no idea what to do when it comes to bike suspension work) and help me put her back to stock. I will help all that I can and even kick down some $$$ and brews if you like. I would appreciate it guys!

  3. OUCH man...glad you are ok, could have probably been worse if you weren't wearing your helmet like you said. I can't believe that lady didn't even ask if you were ok...I would have been just as upset as you.

  4. Email sent to seller(via her craigslist ad)...please let her know Casper...thanks! Also, how hard is it to remove the lowering kit and bar risers from one of these?? I am a bigger guy and would need the bike at stock height with the lower bars. Anyone out there willing to lend a hand switching it back as I have no clue what I am doing with suspensions on bikes...lol?

  5. I don't blame you. And I'm not exactly one for yammies, although I would buy an r6 in a heartbeat. but, that's about it.... if i got a kawi though.... the z1000 is one sexy bike. gotta love it. If i was going to go that bigger route i would probably just go straight for a zx14 though. if youre going 750+ why not?! haha

True, I just kinda prefer the naked or half fairing bikes...looks and ergonomic wise.

  6. I really want an SV650...I would actually prefer the naked one, but I wouldn't turn down a 650S for the right price. Dream bikes are the newer FZ1's or a 2010 Z1000...but I know I am not ready for a bike like that yet..lol. Let me know what your Mom says...thanks.

  7. I would do payments for it if you're willing to work out a long term deal. Of course I'd have to drop by and take a look at the bike, but, I'm willing to think about it. Let me know if you'd be interested in working something of that sort out.

I'm looking for the money up front so I can use it as a down payment on another bike...otherwise I would consider it. Thanks for the offer though.

  8. Yeah everyone there is interested...but nobody has money or wants to do payments or something like that lol. I think it is a fair deal for a clean bike and I am a little surprised nobody has jumped on it yet. It is still kinda early in the season though, so it may take awhile. I have just had an itch for a little more power and something that I can comfortably do some freeway miles with.
