  1. Ahh I hate that plane...lol. There are always a shit ton of cops on that section of road (saw 3 today between Marysville and Plain City) so I usually take it easy on that stretch. Usually the ones I see hauling ass though there are around shift change at Honda.

  2. I dunno about the .380 being too weak...I wouldn't want to be hit by one. Personally I have a Kel-tec p32 with the extended mag and hollow points. Its so light, feels like you are carrying a cell phone and it is very slim and very easily concealable. The extended mag gives you the added grip you need to make it very comfortable in your hand. Call me a pussy but I like the .380's and .32's , however I would NOT go any smaller than these.

  3. I use a leather "swat" tactical type of boot (don't remember the brand). They are very durable and very well padded. I think they would hold up pretty well in a reasonable crash, plus they are comfortable enough to wear around off of the bike.

  4. I got the same comments from everyone when I started riding...mostly about how irresponsible it is when I am a dad to two little girls to do something so dangerous that could take me from them. I use the same logic as the rest of you that I could also walk out my front door and be hit by lightning, or run over by a bus, or slip on the ice and break my neck, or something along those lines. When it is your time to go it is your time...and a person should definitely be more afraid of not living life to the fullest instead of dying.

  5. Definitely get the best gear you can afford...as well as what feels the best on you, because you want to be as comfortable as possible fully geared up so you can just enjoy the ride. Also, if you are a new rider, take the MSF course...it will teach you the basics of riding a motorcycle plus tell you how to apply these concepts in real world scenarios. You should also pick up a book like Keith Code's "Twist of the Wrist 2" and read it cover to cover. Hope this helps, this is what I have done and so far so good.
