Congrats!!!

I must be one of the only people alive that actually hated that movie.
LOL, no it takes a certain kind of person to appreciate a Quentin Tarantino flick. I love pretty much everything he has been involved with though, especially Pulp Fiction.

Yea im not exactly normal size either being im 5'7 and 130lbs. As far as the handling i have noticed that the bike doesnt flick as fast as the 180 did, but it could be that im getting used to the new tires.
The slower feeling is probably in your head, anytime I got new tires it makes the bike feel like it handles slightly different...you will get used to it quickly. Nice choice of bikes btw, those 7R's are cool bikes.

It's tough sometimes...there have been many days I have been standing in my garage staring at my bike on a beautiful 80 degree sunny day and not being able to leave the house and ride because I am watching the kiddo(s) while wife is at work (I work nights and she works days). She has some family here, but I didn't grow up here so I have absolutley NONE to help out watching the kids so I kinda feel your pain. Hope you guys get it figured out and are able to go!!

Nice ZX9R!!

cool bike...
now for towing the S.O. on a tour of the countryside to put in the stable, I'd suggest a shadow 750, super reliable, enough power/torque to tow 2 people around at highway speeds, and a great deal of aftermarket if you want to dress it up a little...
Also, they are super cheap.
+1 or a VT1100 Shadow ACE if power is a concern. Both are super relaible. The 1100 doesn't need valve adjustments either and the shaft drive is nice.

Eh it is just a prefernce thing.

I bought an inexpensive Compaq (HP) refurb laptop last year just to do school work and type papers on...it has really shocked me as to how reliable it has been. It's not the fastest AMD procesor but with 3GB RAM, DVD R/W, 15.6 display, 250GB HD it gets the job done and runs Windows 7 just fine. For $250 bucks I can't complain. It is my first HP amd has served me well for over a year with no problems whatsoever.

If that SV1000 is legit, buy it...NOW. If it is a scam, the 2000 SV650 and the 2000 ZX9R both seem like they have potential. You could negotiate some on both I would say. You should have started this shopping back in December, you could have bought a lot more bike for the money then.

I is sad that it got locked away to only the special people place. I never did see if anyone else commented but me
That seems to be happening a lot to the more entertaining threads on here lately.

I hate being overtaken from behind where I didn't see it coming...
sound like my wife...

Take this for what its worth. Didnt Honda get Sued over the Shadow Ace 1100 by HD? They said it looked and sounded too much like an HD.
I remember that..it was kinda funny especially when Honda started painting them black and orange, they kinda looked like a mini heritage softtail. Cool bikes though. I really enjoy my VT1100 Sabre...it's kinda like Honda's version of a Fatboy I guess.

Welcome to OR, you are not alone...I learned to ride on sport bikes, now on a cruiser.

Welcome!

Because my name is Andrew...friends call me Drew...and I used to have a '95 Mustang GT garage queen(before kids).

after work, RON PAUL!
+1

They are cool bikes, not meant to be speed demons. They are comparable to a Ninja 650R, not a R6. Calling them slow really isn't a fair assessment, especially when coming off of a 1000cc sportbike...pretty much anything less is going to seem super slow.

Sounds like a good time for a good cause. I want to do it, once it gets a little closer and I am sure I can get off from work I will confirm.
