  1. Send me a message just to remind me but I have a 800watt Memphis and 200 w mtx at home. When I get back to Ohio I can verify channels.
  2. I will pray for your family. Maybe it is time you make some type of leap into faith, whatever it may be. It can't hurt.
  3. Mine just went out in my Tahoe. I have built mostly dodge transmissions so this will be my first Chevy. If I wasn't doing it myself I would take it to z tech in plain city.
  4. Go by the input BTU rating. That's considered a 75k btu model not 58500. Just to help give you an idea of what is comparable. I guess if you are looking at all models output you can find something along the same lines, but it might be easier to locate models at 75k. Be a pimp and buy a big money clean burn. I want a oil burn furnace really bad but don't want to fork over the money. Especially when I can buy other furnaces at the cost that I can and run off of natural gas.
  5. Yeah that has been something I have been considering as well. I'm looking at the diy spray kits but I don't know if either my math is way of or if those kits will cost me $8000 to do 40x60 ceiling
  6. I will prob do plastic regardless. I thought about insulating right over the plastic. I don't have the thousands needed for metal right now.
  7. Text sent thanks. That isn't a picture of even 1/4 of it lol. It isn't any good though if you can't use it when it's cold. I'll post pics of the rest of it. I do hvac so I am going to use a furnace and run duct work. I thought about using osb but it will be a waste when next year I put metal up. I think I might look into the spray foam.
  8. I have a pretty big shop out back. It is actually three separate sections put together to one building over the years as money allowed. The back section is my work area. I just put a lift in and am slowly getting a good setup going. Right now I am dreading winter because it gets nasty cold in there. It literally gets colder than outside due to the concrete and metal. I want to put some heat in but first step is insulation. I am going to partition off the rear section and start there first. Eventually I will add a white metal ceiling. For now I just need to get some insulation hanging. Because I won't have a ceiling up yet I don't want to do a spray in fiber insulation. My plan is to do bits at a time as money allows and as easy as possible. Here is a picture of the rafters. They are 4ft apart. I can't find any rolls of insulation 4ft wide. At least not any with good r value. What are your recommendations. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/IMAG0464_zps21ec075f.jpg
  9. Let me know if you need any help or questions about the efi live. I have a decent amount of tunes for an 05 I already made
  10. It will take up to a 60. I'm more concerned with steering linkage and wiring harness. With the new mercury engines I am in the understanding that it is a simple plug that is universal to all motors.
  11. Looking to swap my 2004 9.9hp merc for a 1994 40hp merc on my fishing boat. I found one fir a good deal and I need to find out what it will take to make the swap. I have been told that most plug right up, I don't know about 10 year different engines though.
  12. Yesterday while bent over working on a water meter with my ass up in the air I hear what sounds like 1.2 million babies getting punched all at the same time with a loud screech that almost scared me, I turn to see a black vette eating the road through two quick gears. I go no other look of the car besides black and obviously supercharged. Today, 3 miles down the road from the place I saw it yesterday, I passed home coming at me with that obvious name plastered at the top of the windshield. This is in plain city coming down 42 headed south. Hope to pass him some more.
  13. Load that birch up and bring it to me. I would love to have another shepherd
  14. Amsoil dealer as well if anyone needs anything. You can save a bit by picking it up and not having to worry about shipping. I try to order large orders at a time to pick everything up and save the shipping.
  15. I have a few of those on the truck here at the house in plain city as well if you need one
  16. You havent dealt with many custom builders then.
  17. No it wasn't a concert, just him at the bar where he was doing a promotion/appearance. Prob one of the most memorable nights of my life the way it all turned out lol. Except for all of the stuff after he started dumping jager down my throat, I don't remember much after that. We pretty much partied with him all night and from the get go he wanted to see the car. I'm pretty sure he was piss drunk but drove it down high street. That car sure looks different than the last time I saw it(riding in the back seat on the way to see VI) Good luck with the sale. P.S. if you have to wonder what his infatuation with this car was about, you know nothing about vanilla ice and should watch some music videos.
  18. Ztech transmissions out of plain city gets my vote. They have done a lot of work with me andare the most affordable and do the best work out of any other trans shop I have ever dealt with. Years ago I toasted $3800 tci trans in my thunderbird, they rebuilt my stock trans for $980 and it held way more power for way more years than the tci streetfighter.
  19. There is a lot of poor information in this thread so do your own research. For one, dodge transmissions are not as bad as people make them out to be. They are designed for a purpose at a specific power level. How do you add 300 ft lbs of torque to something and get pissed when the tranny doesn't like it? I have been through my fair share of these units, 47rh,47re,and48re, truth is, 90% of failed transmissions could be prevented with simple valve body mods. Some maybe a converter to go with it. In my opinion the Allison is the biggest pile of shit to mess with in terms of modded truck, modded trans, time involved, trouble shooting problems, and money invested. Again, as a stock unit in a stock truck, it does exactly what it was intended to do. For those that have negative things to say about a 48re, go have your way with a 68 in a new truck and report back to me.
  20. The story I got from a lady down the street was that either parent or grandparent who started it got sick and died quickly. The successors were not really into it. It is sad to hear that it closed. I was told a couple months ago that it was but I guess I was hoping they were wrong. Wish I would have went again. Only been twice.
  21. I agree. I was always thought that if your helmet ever takes a bump equivalent to dropping it knee high that it's structural integrity is questionable from then on. Spend a couple hundred more of his insurance money to buy a very nice helmet. Great to hear that you walked away from this. I live in fear every day that my brother and my dad may experience this same type of accident. Unfortunately because they are your stereotypical Harley owners, they wear no gear and do not debate it. I no longer own a bike because of my accident.
  22. I feel comfortable with my wife using the judge for a nightstand gun. She actually enjoys it too. That is with target rounds.
