I think I remember hearing a little bit about Tinman fabricating but I havnt seen him around here lately and I didn't think about it. I also know Gearhead did a lot of work but I wasn't aware that he was much into fabrication.

I don't have anything too extensive that needs done but I wanna stretch the frame out on my truck so that I can fit a long bed on it. It sounds like a lot but has been done plenty. I can do a lot of the work but right now I still dont have a big enough welder to do the job and do it the way I want it done. Can anyone recommend me anyone to contact?

I would like to make it up but believe it or not I dont fucking have anything to ride. I have three ski's and one is currently hijacked by another family member and the other two are on the same trailer and one just happens to be in a lot of peices it wont be back until next week. But I am hoping by then I will finally be 75+ mph. I am still waiting on some pieces for my IC so that I can be closer to my 80mph mark. If someone wants someone to tag along with them I will be available but currently I dont have anything lol. Sam if you dont have anyone going with you again this time I'll ride along with you if you want. I know you said it rides better with two people in it. Just let me know, no big deal.

Why dont you just start modding yours? You can build a custom intake for almost nothing, and make some exhaust mods like take out your resonator then throw some different jets in your carb for a total in 5$ in jets. Buy an intake grate for $50-100 depending on which one you get and you should be a few mph faster.
-
As soon as my ski is together again I am gonna go back up to Indian to play a bit. Ill let you know. On a positive note, I figured out where I was loosing all my rpm's and got that all worked out so I should be another couple mph faster next time out.

they were prob going to one of the resevoirs but pwcs cant go there.

I dont know how many tubes your boat will pull or if you would be interested but I always have a tube in my truck. Right now I have a brand new obrien double tube still in the box sitting in there. We just havent made it out to the gf's yet to tube on it but if you come and want more than one out there I should have one.

I think CR needs a section just for us boaters. Now that we are getting a whole lot more people on here with watercraft it might provide a place for people to ask boat only questions that they would just ask anywhere else in the forum. It would prob open up the doors to allow people to learn quite a bit.

That is a damn clean boat if you ask me for the price range you were looking at. Hopefully it runs just as well as it looks once you get it wet.

Because they were going back to the Z as being the more powerfull powerplant meaning that the Z was going to be well over the 400+ hp SS.

Is there a reason you dont want a prefab/modular type house. I know to a lot of people they are "cheaper built houses" but my buddies house was custom designed but prefabed in a warehouse and is technically a modular home. It was also almost 400k to build and you would never know it was a modular. Some people also argue modulars are stronger as they are built with 4x6s rather than 4x4s because they have to be carried to the build site.

Congrats. Thurs night sounds like a great time to get it out on the water . Im waiting for new pics of it.

I have a small dent on the gas tank of my bike from my pelvis slamming into it. It did it once before and it popped back out. I would rather not bang around on my tank trying to get it to pop back out again so I was wondering about having it removed. I dont know to much about paintless dent removal but I have always heard they really do drill small holes. Anyone have any advise to getting this pulled out so I can sell this damn thing.

They are already doing great overseas. They were all over Saudi Arabia. I made a post about them over there a few months ago. The SS models were very nice looking and sounded decent. I really like the front end but the backside lacks a little bit. The interiors are really nice.

Shanton better get some picks up. Ha ha the best ones were "oh hey look at Sam in the front of the boat... wait... whos driving?"
-
Nice turnout tonight. Wish the ski couldve held up longer. My bildge pump should be in within the next few days though and I am gonna re route my intake to the front so that I will stop picking up water.

This looks like a really nice candidate. It sounds like its everything you were looking for in the price range right?

Most Thurs we go out the water is a little choppy when we first get there but back in the long cove its usually calm and after about the first hour usually the whole lake is flat. There are a lot more wakeboarders up there this year. I bet we see a couple wake boats out there tom. As far as tricks I think Andrew is the only one of us that can get any amount of air without getting hurt. I don't know how advanced his other tricks are, I havent been boarding with him this season yet either. You are welcome to come out with us on any Thurs. I still wanted to talk to you about that board if you still had it also, but I wouldn't mind any advise or tips, and I am sure Shanton wouldn't mind seeing some one go that is at any level above ours. I am still working on landing any kind of jumps. I havent got any type of air since I was about 15 when I was little and didn't have a problem landing anything with little skill.

Its alive and ready to go. Lets hope everything goes alright tom. Paul do you still have my number? I'll prob be out there with the woman starting early afternoon. For those who havent heard it in the water, I am sure the ones that have heard it will attest that the video doesnt do it justice. I am just pissed with all of this saving my motor bullshit the last week I have not been able to install the IC, 42lbs injectors, and my new prop.
-
I agree with all of that but I have also grown up on the water my whole life with boats and jet skis so they are a part of my life. I went 4 years without either and it killed me every summer. Now I have a fishing boat and 3 skis and looking for a wake boat. P.S. How come you dont make it out to Alum on Thurs if your so close? Word on the street is that some of us are doing a little wakeboarding this week and I am sure we could use some tips from someone who is prob much better than us.

190 is the model of the boat
-
Paul what are they saying you need? Prob something along the lines of an Intake grate, air intake, re jet carb and a prop.

Actually I still have a water box but it is not stock. Mine is completely hand fabricated and all custom alum about half the size of stock and fully gutted, and then I have it running through the hull instead of stock outlet. In fact here I am posting a link to do somewhat of the same thing to your stock waterbox and it will sound similiar. You would just have to get yourself some piping and route it from the waterbox out the back of your hull. You can buy two exhaust outlets and the exhaust block off. Your boat has dual exhaust doesnt it? That would sound sick! Here is the link. http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14329 That mod alone on our skis is known to produce a 4 hp gain. Correct me if I am wrong but your 2 motors x 4hp gain = at least 8 ponnies. And that doesnt include changing it to a thru hull. You might even be able to contact Tony Doukas Racing and see if they can fab you up two seperate water boxes that are gutted. Mine is supposed to be about 6 hp gain with the thru hull and everything. Be advised though as rumor has it you arent even running air filters so I would say with exhaust you will prob be running too high of an RPM and on the limiter and not even know it. You will have to re-prop so that you can get the rpms back down and you can gain a few mph. If you dont want to reprop I can get you a place to send your stocker and they can custom pitch your stock one. I just had my knew 15/20 prop pitched +1mm which is good for about 200 rpm difference. I can also check and see if my riva nozzle kit will fit your boat and that is usually good for a little speed increase too. I have a few free mod tricks we can look at on your boat too. If you are confused about the waterbox at all let me know and next time we are out I will show you everything that was done. It is not that hard and is so worth it.

There is already power out to the barn and I even get a seperate electric bill for the barns and the house. It has a breaker box in it now and the compressor is sitting right beside it.

I too like to have a powerful engine but at the same time dont agree it has to be a V8. My old boat was a 300hp v6. It did more than I ever needed it to. My gf's boat has a 4 cylinder with i think 140hp(?) and if it wasnt for the prop being so tore up and shitty it would have a decent amount of power and last week we still pulled 4 people on tubes with 4 others in the boat. Little slow getting out of the water but again I think a new prop would make the difference. I would want a little more power than what it has myself but I think a nice V6 would be a happy medium when it comes to fuel/power. If $120 every weekend is nothing to you then I would say go V8.
