I am not even in the damn country and I am so tired of hearing about this already. At the rate everyone is freaking out they are going to do something stupid and lockdown the country and I'll be stuck here. People need to relax, at least for 3 more weeks until I am home.
I have a few extra sets of ranger beads laying around. I dont use them really though. I pick up pepples or small things and put them in my pocket. If you still need them in three weeks when I get home you can have them, but you sure as hell wont be finding me doing any land nav for a long, long time after I get home.
Yep you are right! As long as you are into Integras, Gerbils, and KY jelly all at the same time. I personally am not so I hold to my previous statement. You enjoy your screaming for attention yellow cars and your sore asshole.
I think the yellow is past its time. I have talked myself out of a couple c5's just because i just feel like its a little too 3 years ago and I see too many ugly yellow cars now.
I am pretty sure her "mom" is honest and upfront with her about the adoption process. The agency wont do anything to assist her because they aren't allowed. I guess it was in the agreement 19 years ago when the process started. I know they attempted to deal with the agency regarding this.
I don't know really where to start. The only idea I had was to hire like a PI or someone of that nature. I know that this stuff has been done before and I even remember a TV show here recently where a guy specialized in these rare kind of jobs.
My girlfriend is adopted and has mentioned wanting to somehow find out some info on her biological mother. I don't know too much about this kind of thing but I do know that the info she has been provided is slim to none. I think they called it a closed adoption or something like that. Which means that she only knows that the lady was 17 or so at the time and a few other things but nothing about her name, where she is from or anything.
I know that there were obvious choices things were kept a secret at that time but 19 years later who knows what has changed. I don't know what she really expects to get out of finding any more information out but I think its just one of those things that trouble a person because it is "unknown". I know she doesnt hope to find her and have a relationship with her mother but I am pretty sure she hopes to just be able to see what she looks like and maybe ask if they could one day say hello. Like I said not really sure about any of this but I would like to be able to try to help her find someting or at least get it on track. Anyone ever dealt with this at all?
Consider yourself lucky. I would do anything to trade you right now. Just to be able to have a bit of beer touch my lips sounds amazing. I say drink some more.
At least it is only once a year for this kind of thing, but damn, paid off or not the more toys you have the more this kind of things adds up to make them non affordable. I wasnt even home this year for my birthday but someone went ahead and took care of getting all my registrations updated and it cost me a shit load.
All the things I had to get registered this year
-Dodge ram with specialty plates
-Dakota
-Saturn
-CBR
-4 trailers (1 boat and 3 waverunners)
-Ski registration for the water
and I am not even doing the Camaro this year. This shit adds up.
Toomeys are exhaust pipes. The cans look like toomeys but the pipes look like SST's almost. Its been awhile so I am not that fresh with them. Toomeys are a top end pipe, while FMF SST's are a midrange. Makes a huge difference.
Will he take any trades?
Edit: Just looked closer and they are not SST's. My vote is toomey, which is not really a MX type pipe. More of a top end pipe that most use in the dunes.
IMO flux is a no go, especially if you want to do things such as shaving door handles. I dont think a welder is something you can really go cheap on. It is one of those things that you get what you pay for and your work will reflect what you use. Doesn't mean it has to cost 4k+ either.
I Dont have any great pics.

Maybe an edge logo or something in there would be sweet. Thanks.

Those are all I have though.
I try to go and atleast observe on most track days that I can and I have personally seen some 17+ second slips so I wouldnt be too concerned about it. You prob wont be the slowest.
There was just a thread about this I believe, but I would steer anyone away from the craftsman. I personally had one break within the first 3 times I used it. If you cant borrow one and its worth buying anyways I would say Snappy. Personal preference though. You could even call any truck and pick up a used one that has been freshly calibrated for 1/2 the price. If you want I can give you the number to my Snap On guy and he will take care of you.
A lot of the handheld ones are waterproof(they even float). I dont plan on getting wet with it really but part of the reason I want it is for my ski so I do get a little wet, I mean I am on water. I would just rather not have something sensitive to water. Anyone have any 2 cents on handheld units? It looks like the majority are pointing towards vehicle types. How are the speed readings on the Garmins?
