Get her a family size box of assorted Trojans and some anal lube. Then explain to her you really just wanted to get her something she would get a plenty of use out of in the near future. You are bound to take her breath away, I can almost promise you.
-
As soon as I get home and I finish the paint you are welcome to come see what she can do with the setup I have now and Ill throw the new turbo on and you can we can see how it changes. I strongly dont recomend doing what I did and you need to start thinking about head studs if you are going to have a turbo that will support those type of injectors. I sent you a pm back so you can let me know what you think about everything. Berto I have a couple things Id like to run by you here soon. How familiar are you with the cummins programing (Powerspec, and Celect)? I have some questions regarding ISX's. Ill try to send you a pm here shortly with more regarding this and an issue with my truck Id like to get your opinion on.

It is going to be winter for a long time still. Wait and slowly build some cash do do that cam and the cover at the sime time, maybe you can match a cam for the spray you want to add.

There are times I wish somebody would lock this site down to prevent people like you contaminating our lovely community.

Wow I almost forgot about you. Do you still work for Cummins? Actually the 18psi has bothered me a few times. I have tried to talk to many people regarding it and enough have assured me that I am fine that it takes my mind off of it. I still consider maybe adding in a regulator.

Is this in regards to the vp44. Keep it until yours dies. As far as your trans, save up the money now for a new one. That way you have it in the bank once you start making some power and your finally takes a shit. Cause it will. Time is the question.

+1 for waiting on numbers, looking good

A pry bar sounds like it would own the situation as of now. You can do anything with a big enough pry bar.

If you broke the bolts holding on the water pump then their should be nothing fully securing the water pump on anymore right? If I understand correctly and the wp is just sitting on basically studs of the leftover bolts just slide the water pump off now. If you dont have the room and have to yank the radiator so be it. Then you can just go to sears and buy you one of those cheap mapp gas torches and it should be enough to heat whats left of the bolts and take them out with vice grips. If you heat them enough they should break loose no problem.

Yeah in my opinion your are playing death games with the vp44 on the stock lift pump when runnin your edge turned up, that is of course if your wire is tapped. I hope you at least have a FPress guage. If you are looking to get your tranny built stronger without a built price tag let me know. The guy who did mine charged me around 1500 and it is holding up strong for 20k miles with edge cranked, 200hp sticks, fuel mods, and other small bolt ons. If your only seeing 35psi I doubt you have any type of injectors worth writing home about, I was hitting 35psi on stock injectors with just the edge. My 42psi is extremely inefficient because it is on the stock turbo and I am sure very hot air. I have to slap on the new HTT 66mm turbo, head studs, and do something with the gaskets when I get home. I will also be upgrading to even larger injectors. I am going to see exactly what this tranny can do before I spend the 6500 on a new one. I would like to get another TQ though and use with this trans.

I have been through 3 pumps. The first one was due to lack of fuel pressure. Upgraded to the Fass and and maintain at least 18psi at idle and never drop below 9psi at WOT. That is all with larger fuel lines. My second and third pump it was the brains that just gave out. If your fuel press drops and cant feed the IP you will loose it. Any vp44 owner is so scared of the loss of fuel/lubrication to their pump. I know guys still scared running ULSD through their trucks due to the process in making it ULS that takes alot of the lubrication away from the fuel. You are right, it is not so much the performance gain at first as is the peace of mind of reliability. At the same time you are going to need the better pump anyways when it comes to feeding it more fuel down the road. So far my new Schied injection pump is holding up great and is feeding a set of 200hp sticks with my edge on 5 almost always. I love my fass and like scotty said it is noisy but I like the sound cause then I know its working;) My vote is go for it. If it was me doing it all over again I wouldnt buy any different pump and spend any less. What are the current mods/future plans for your truck?

Ha ha a challenge right now would be hard to answer consindering my current location. If you hit the county pulls in the summer maybe we could meet up and shoot the shit. Ill be home just in time for them, and maybe by then Ill have the new turbo put on so that I can hold the throttle wide open for longer than 4 seconds before pegging 1600*+.

At this rate I will never get a new Camaro. I have my fingers crossed that GM can make it.

Welcome to CR

Fuck the H2s if you want some wheels Ill hook you up. I just happen to know where there is a nice set of 17" Classic II's with 35" Mud Grapplers on them for a good price. They should fit on your truck nicely for summertime.

Fuck the secondary tank when you can just fill the primary on a constant basis. :bangbang: Oh an P.S. your statement in your sig might be true to some but I for one beg to differ.

Ive always heard that both companies use shit fuel. Something about it is the fuel that didnt meet specs for all the other companies

Columbusnarcotics.com I like the sound of it

Well I am happy but I am not holding my breath on it being the same way when I return to the states. When I left it was high enough to worry about. Gas here in Saudi Arabi if 64 cents a gallon. That explains why people here drive 120mph on a regular basis and not care one bit. One of our posts sits 20 yards off of the freeway here and it is very nice to watch a shit load of fatal accidents occur at speeds over 100mph. Stand by for videos of said accidents. I have always been able to capture the aftermath but never in the action.

100% agree with food vs fuel, my specific instance of how I worked their promo's didnt apply to food but to buying pills for my Grandfather. I guess you could consider him a pill popper but what 68 year old with two major heart surgeries and a rare disease isnt a pill popper. Just pointing out different ways people can use the perks to their advatages including prescriptions and gift cards.

how does paying $4 more for a bottle of medicine not equal a better deal for in return getting $1 a gallon off of fuel. With a maximum of 30 gallons at $1 off a gallon that is a potential saving of $30 -$4 for medicine= $26. I still fail to see the part that means this isnt worth it. Think about what happens when you fill 4 prescriptions.
-
I still win by moving to GE for some stuff. Our family went and changed some perscriptions we get for our Grandfather. They give up to a dollar off a gallon for each one changed. The prescriptions ended up costing about 4$ more total but when I am filling up my dodge with diesel fuel all summer for never more than 1.78 a gallon I win. This was when diesel was $4.50+ a gallon. I havent filled up that truck for $40 since I owned it until this. I even made out on a free tank at one time. Moral of the story= learning how to shop around makes you a winnar! As for regular grocery shopping you loose. If you are going to a restaraunt and you swing by GE a pick up a gift cert. before you go just so you can save that much more per gallon of fuel, you in again a winnar! There are ways to work the system. I guess some of us here just dont happen to be as smart as others.

^^^^ He is a very helpfull person when it comes to EFI and knows a lot. He helped me through a couple begining tune issues. If you can get the time with him to talk about it I would recomend doing so. If you go to Dieselplace.com you can download tune files that have already been made to start out with. I wish I would have seen this thread before, I would have had the perfect truck for you.

Think about it though his head and hands were prob the only exposed skin while going into the water. The article said his hand had blood on it from a cut so obviously first target area. A couple bites to some clothes and nothing, but a bite or two from the head to disperse more blood I would say that would be the second target area.
