IMO the firearms threads add interaction with people on here and unlike most sites the people here actually do things together, not just type about things they do from a computer... I have met some good people from this site that i would not have ever met if it were not for there shared interests in firearms. I could also say the same thing about the dirt threads, not everyone in here shares the passion for riding dirt but it is a great forum to meet the people that do and ride differant area's that maybe you didnt know about or did not want to ride alone.

I have had nothing but bad experiance with the gun counter there. Went with my Dad last year to purchase him a new black powder, the idiots did not even know how to turn the breach 1/4 turn on the Bone collector to remove and clean. The guy was such an ass that he would not even hand us the gun and in turn stripped it out while we were standing there... Then he proceeds to tell us it is no big deal and he can take $20 off if we were to purchase! this is a $600 rifle that is now stripped and he is still going to sell as nothing is really wrong.

what he is really trying to say is, Chevy's are not worth anything so its no big deal to run them into shit, but you have a really nice truck so he understands why you would not want to smash it into banks of snow!!

I am going back down to Wayne Friday night November 11th and camping to Saturday morning...I am going to ride all day Saturday then probably head home Saturday night depending on how cold it is. If anyone would like to join let me know and we can meet up. Goal this time would be to put some gas down at Dorr Run locked in a truck, Ride to Dorr fill up, ride around Dora then fill back up again and head to camp. Should be a good ride. Tim and I made it from camp to Dora last time but had to head back because of gas. Not this time!!

Hutch i think i want this! i have been looking for one that i can use in the dirt as well and if something happens oh well. Ill pm you now on how to hook up.

I am not sure if its Karma or just doing the right thing but about a month ago my elder neighbor came to me and asked if i knew anyone that could install new door locks for her because she was worried the one she had was not locking properly, i went to Lowes and purchased a new set for her (she paid for) then i installed for her. she tried to pay me and i would not accept, next day there was a basket of cookies from her when i got home! mmm i like cookies!!
