  1. This is an easy decision IMO.

If you are in love with The Samsung/Touchwiz experience & Apps, get the Note.

If you like having full access to every aspect of your phone and enjoy tweaking/playing with roms and general advantages of vanilla android, get the Nexus.

I've had a few generations of notes and loved them, other than the inability to completely unlock the phone, and I'm sort of done with that now. Having lots of fun on the nexus.

  2. Anybody have any inside track on renting a fairly high scissor/boom lift?

The large exterior street light on front of the garage has failed and I want to replace the whole fixture. Trying to even reach the light on a tall ladder is a bit of a dangerous venture.

Should be good with a 25' scissor or boom lift. Saw a few local rental places, but seeing $200-300+ for ~4 hours or so.

  3. Fixed for you Jones. :p

I mean. Maybe its a price point thing. Maybe I'm just poor, but I would be pissed if someone wrecked my shit and I had to keep a car that someone else ruined for me.

Nah, I just forgot what CR really is. Feels good though.

I think you forgot it's a car, let alone a FOCUS, let alone an AWD FOCUS.

Cars are meant to be driven.

Everything I have and will ever own will be driven in all seasons...

  4. We didn't allow test drives on our Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Editions. Only 500 made for US market, handmade carbon fiber monocoque, exposed CF throughout. A deep scratch from a careless test driver could really hurt the value and could cost a lot more than just some buffing compound to fix.

    70k vs Gussied up impreza.

  5. I can see their point though.

I feel like it's a tactic to keep teenagers way who want to hoon a car they have no way of affording. Unfortunately, some of the sales staff is unable to discern between hooning teenager and potential customer who wants to actually see how a car fits them before purchasing.
