Yeah, not fun. I had a nice spill mid-October and was fortunate that the only rash was my bike and helmet. Bike parts are replaceable; you're not. Glad you're ok!

It's all relative. My FJR has been called everything from a monster to a dinky bike. The rule back in CA was "if it splits the cars, it's a perfect fit." This is why test riding motorcycles should be more accessible. I still think that would reduce the snobs.

Are there any churrascarias in C-bus?

I have the Windows 7 beta testing on my tower and it's worked fine the last few months I played with it. I still dual boot with XP because of video editing software that doesn't work for Vista/7. Otherwise I'd upgrade my other office machine to Windows 7. I just say avoid Vista like the plague. I think Microsoft has this thing for crapping up every other OS they release.

Glad everyone's ok. I was rear ended by a lady who was smoking and on a cell phone at the same time. Not cool at all...especially when she hit me when I was on my motorcycle. Have fun with insurance...

Yeah, it's fuel injected. I still remember the carb days, though. Wouldn't hurt to carry one of those 1-liter fuel bottles though regardless...me likes.

My tank is 6.6 gallons...will hit reserve with about 1.5 left which puts me at about 60-65 miles. If I'm pulling a trailer that drops to about 50-55. Otherwise I'll know with the sputtering and lurching.

I had some teenager try that on me during pickup hockey a couple weeks back. He kept missing the net though. Cool trick but definitely not essential to playing.

Yeah, you do get attached to the critters. Had a toy poodle and she made it to 13. She passed away while I was on my first cross-country motorcycle trip. I dedicated part of my TX ride to her (her parents were from TX). Hang in there!

Best friend from HS has it. She's in med school too @ U of IL so she's missing lectures like crazy. Not fun.
