    Fuzzy!

  2. Ah, had an '05 yellow SV in a previous life. Loved that bike. Would've kept it if I didn't go the touring route.
  3. How about a wheelie on a Triumph Rocket III? I got to ride the original Rocket III, and this beast sounds really tempting. And the bike looks like it's in control. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSKFucw8EBA
  4. Don't know much about Branson, but if you're in that part of MO, I'd suggest stopping at Lambert's Cafe for lunch and some throwed rolls. It's on the way there.
  5. These are my daily boot of choice: http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Thor_5050_Boots--610749.html They're comfy and I've used them on my long tours. Tough as nails and the shifter area has an extra protective cover. Also, buckles and other parts are easy to replace when needed - just call Thor and they send them ASAP, no questions asked. Only reason I know this is that I've had a buckle melt off on me crossing AZ into CA - 119°F can do that to a boot. That's really the only problem I've had with them after 40,000 miles.
  6. They're pretty warm in the winter; I was able to go about 50 miles at highway speeds at 27°F before I started feeling cold. They're warm in the summer...can get a little too warm in the toes if you're riding through very humid stuff but the inside dries pretty quickly.
  7. Wonderful boots! Flying Brick and I both have matching pairs. Truly waterproof for all day in the rain adventures and great snow boots too...LOL. Definitely worth the money.
  8. Yeah, scary. I'm leery on used sport bikes with an unknown past. I'd just have the hand up for this once something goes wrong. Besides, there are so many other awesome starter bikes out there...sigh.
  9. If you're in C-bus there's always Play It Trade It on Polaris. I'd keep it; there's just something about SNES that the new systems can't touch. Heck, I've kept all my vintage systems. But, if you don't want it, I'd be happy to take a few cartridges off your hands.
  10. I'm in Columbus and I've got a 2-bike trailer available. I pull the thing with my Subaru and it's fine. PM me if you still need it.
  11. Rode yesterday! Sun was out and a chill 39°. Did about 70 miles. I'm looking forward to a few more pockets of nice weather through the season.
  12. More stuff to put under the tree? Sweet.
  13. Apparently, Touchdown Jesus also does the... Squish the Jesus?
  14. Aww, come on, guys, there's still a few pockets of decent weather left. Flying Brick and I did a 600-mile round trip from C-bus to Urbana, IL over two days last week. Averaged about 35°F getting there and about 25°F getting back (before windchill @ 70MPH brought it down between 19° and 1°F). Empty on I-70 and I-74 though...only saw three bikes other than us. Layers, a pair of heated gloves, and a Zumo 550! That's all you really need. Still waiting for Brick to try the scooter...needs some snow.
  15. Yeah, I've got a Zumo 550 with the XM radio antenna. It's been with me for over 50k miles in every type of weather and it still rocks. I have a Touratech cradle lock and a lockable RAM mount to keep it on the bike (http://www.touratech-usa.com/shop/show.lasso?sku=065-0141). Works wonderfully and it really deters any attempt at stealing it. I will agree that it is annoying and a bit pricey to update it but I just decided I'll do it every two years instead of one; does the world really change that quickly, anyway? For non-motorcycle purposes, the Magellan GPS devices are great and if you can get one on sale, even better. (I think there was a refurbed Magellan on sale at Micro Center for $50 bucks or something like that.) My brother had a Tom Tom and it actually died on him. I haven't tried a Tom Tom myself so I couldn't tell you much. Extra note: I just pulled my Zumo off my bike after it was sitting outside in 15 degree weather (bike's not garaged because I just came back from Illinois yesterday). Started right up. Definitely Zumo FTW.
  16. Ah, good old Lomita, CA. Makes me feel a little homesick...might stop on by there if I get a chance to fly home. There's a few good motorcycle dealers on that part of Pacific Coast Highway, a Boss Hoss/Ural shop and a Yamaha/Victory/Polaris one to name a couple. With the rent they have to pay for that part of town, I really hope they do turn a profit. Yikes!
  17. 2010 Ford Fiesta for beach shore battle? Or a cruise in the mall? LOL:lol: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_KIqdS1SO0
