The only qualms I had with mine were A.) it can only do 4.5" material and B.) the mounting stand is flimsy as hell. Other than that, it's a pretty good little saw for the cash.

Not super thrilled with the penetration, it's too much. However, knowledge rarely comes without experimentation.
I say buy a Miller or Lincoln, can't go wrong with either one and they'll last for years to come.
And now, thanks to Jesse, I'll be on Homemade Tools for hours.
I wouldn't incorporate the word "fab" at all unless you plan on solely doing fabrication work. I think Steve's had the best idea so far with Jet Performance Center; simple, effective, and no room for misinterpretation.
