They are a bolt-on application for both 2JZ-GE and 2JZ-GTE engines. They're mainly an aesthetic modification for both engines.

They started out as GTE covers, the GE ones aren't usable for the fabricated covers as they're made out of magnesium.

The only qualms I had with mine were A.) it can only do 4.5" material and B.) the mounting stand is flimsy as hell. Other than that, it's a pretty good little saw for the cash.

Had a little extra time today so I decided to dick around with a different bevel on some extra schedule 40 I had: Not super thrilled with the penetration, it's too much. However, knowledge rarely comes without experimentation.

I say buy a Miller or Lincoln, can't go wrong with either one and they'll last for years to come. And now, thanks to Jesse, I'll be on Homemade Tools for hours.

I wouldn't incorporate the word "fab" at all unless you plan on solely doing fabrication work. I think Steve's had the best idea so far with Jet Performance Center; simple, effective, and no room for misinterpretation.
