  1. For some reason, I doubled my answer. It's late. And I think I did the distance around the Earth minus 80 yards. Oh well.
  2. Yeah, the one at Easton. They didn't tell me a whole lot, just that he's still in the hospital. I closed the rink on Wednesday, so it must have happened Thursday morning. I should know some more by the end of the weekend.
  3. ...it's time to go riding. Apparently someone made an electrical mistake in the compressor room at the ice rink I work at, which consequently turned both of our ice rinks into swimming pools. It looks like it's going to be nice out all weekend, anyone else going for a ride?
  4. Checkered flag decal adds another 38mph.
  5. The F650GS, IMO, would get boring. The F800GS is the most heavy, but it makes good power. Two-up wouldn't be an issue. If you're looking for a track bike, I'd try to find a X Moto.
  6. BMW G650 X Challenge http://www.touratech-usa.com/shop/G650X.lasso A lot of fun stuff for that bike. I rode this one in MI one time (on the street). I enjoyed it, but you would need different tires for sure if you wanted to do some serious off-road riding. I think the F800GS would better suit your needs.
  7. Nice 6er. 635CSi? That's one of my favorite BMW's.
  8. Cars have their place... I got started in BMW CCA with my Z3 and it was a lot of fun. It was just the only time I really enjoyed the car, so I sold it. I love my motorcycles all the time.
  9. I wouldn't have thought it was cross-like had it not been pointed out. If you don't like the design, don't buy it.
  10. Right around 15K, on the Bimmer. I did about 5k on the Z1000. Next year will be a lot less as my round trip commute shrank from 50 to 20 miles.
  11. Looks like the closest city showing it is about 8 hours away. Anyone down for a ride?
  12. Nah, our rat is pretty smart. He acts more like a small dog. More social than a cat as well.
  13. I have the multi-set. It works great, but I'd say you need a windshield if you want to use it at freeway speed. It's gets a little hard to hear on my Z1000. The part the bluetooth device mounts to broke after two years of use, but I have the spare one still.
  14. Welcome! I used to live in Nashua for several years.
  15. I made this a few years ago, and still have it. Foam pumpkins never die.
  16. It's better to be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. -Abe Lincoln
  17. I just put some dirt bike tires on the scooter; I plan on riding year round.
  18. Pretty nice quality. I use a old 8mm camera with a RAM mount off the handlebar. You might want to look at their mounts instead of double sided tape. http://www.ram-mount.com/
