You can replace plastics. Check engine covers and rear sets for scrapes or small fractures at the joints that may not have been replaced.

I agree with this. But RF is looking for fairly cheap. If he's looking at Cerwins for his mains then I think a sony receiver is fine for him. Its not like hes running paradigms or something.

I dont have experience with them but the reviews are great for all those speakers for the price. obviously they dont perform like a pair of reference klipsch. I would say price is the determinant since they range from $130-$215. I would go with the cheaper dual-sub speaker and save the extra money for a better receiver. Since youre already in the low range of speakers the extra $100 in a receiver I think would be the better option.
