    Wake up to this.

Damn, sorry to hear about the Ape...Glad you're OK and able to tell the tale.
  2. Yeah, for the ST I'm not worried about the .2"... Prolly just build the upper from individual parts at this point... Everybody seems to be out of stock of just about everything though.
  3. Nothing too exciting: SBR in 5.56...Registered as 10.3" Was planning on either the Spikes, or DD MK18 upper...
  4. Got a stamp back today, now to track down an upper or parts...
  5. Cool...If there'll be no Canadians there, I guess I can make an effort to check it out...
  6. Glad I made it out to play yesterday...Was a decent day after the fog burned off. Was nice putting some more faces to screen names, as always. Many thanks to KTM-Brian for the suspension help.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbXciBKcfQ8
  8. Crashes? If they were really any good they'd have laid them down to avoid crashing...
  9. Nice meeting you RVTPilot, Keith Stone, and the handful of others whose names already elude me... Already plan on being back up there Labor Day weekend--Looking forward to bBbOunCINGgg the Mille around the track again, lol...
  10. Unless it is quite old, a handgun should not 'go off' from being dropped. Usually what causes it to discharge is the person trying to catch it and inadvertently snagging the trigger...
  11. Saw that story on the news the other night...Brought back a lot of emotions with losing our pup to lymphoma last April. Dog actually looked a lot like ours and moved just like him in his last days. Always inspirational when an animal becomes family, and the compassion and friendship it so readily gave it's people is returned.
  12. Oh yeah, I should prolly bring that suit, enit?
  13. Now we're getting somewhere. To be 'wrong and alive', or 'dead and right'? And for someone who claims not care for black and white...Defending oneself with a gun does not always lead to a dead, or even injured attacker.
  14. That is more-or-less the definition of 'self-defense', where force = force. So, say a whack-job with a sword tells you he is going to kill you. then draws back the sword to swing...Are you carrying a sword to block with? (If so, are you wearing tights?)
  15. I believe a proverbial shield would be useless in a life-and-death situation...and a real shield would be too heavy and awkward to carry around.
  16. So you're saying...If one feels his/her life is in immediate danger, the best course of action is to wait and see if they actually die or not, and then make an informed decision...?
  17. So you're saying that if you take away the reason, then there's no more reason...right?
  18. I remember the battery being stolen out of our Chevy panel truck once, when I was a child... My Dad replaced the battery and puttied a couple of razor blades--either side of the hood latch. A couple of weeks later, or so, it 'looked' like someone tried it again, but left without the battery.
  19. Thanks...Figures there's a forum for everything now, enit? Will definitely give it a go there...
  20. Is that why you won't let this thread die? Or is it just the overwhelming need to have the last word?
