  1. 30" with it being 15" from crotch to knee.
  2. Clintonville I will check for exact-ish length at lunchtime today. ETA: approx. 30"...15" from crotch to knee. Prolly go check out those roads you showed me again
  3. Not to disparage this site--It has been interesting so far: Haven't heard of the Aprilia Forum you have linked above... ...But, apriliaforum.com is actually a wealth of aprilia knowledge run by an excellent group of guys (also known as AF1 Racing) that set the standard by which every other dealer should strive for in terms of customer service. The site itself is a bit more, shall we say, "cultural" as the participants span the globe, while at the same time a bit more mature (chronologically anyway)...(and if you don't count the euro 125 crowd). That is also not to say that it does not have it's fair share of deviants, rednecks (much like myself) and twunts...but all in all it is definitely a place I would recommend for anyone who rides an Ape or wants to find out more about them.
  4. Generally, yes. Now would it were an aprilia, then, one would just be inherently superior.
  5. Coyote

So far so good, if you're looking for an anchor.

  6. Not to be confused with the Feng Shui facial.
  7. This Ape will be out on his Indian. Oh wait... I think I told it wrong.
  8. Purely inferential, but taking into account the sheer speed/momentum needed to imbed a bike into whatever that was—I am guessing that the decision as to whether to brake or to bail probably didn’t even have enough time to make to the major muscle groups before impact.
  9. I used to ride /5's back in the day, and never did self-preservation instincts compel me to dump the bike rather than grab as much drum brake as possible while trying to maintain some semblance of control and remain upright. Of course, that’s just me…And old Beemers aren’t as heavy (and fast?) as a big HD cruiser.
  10. I need one to put next to the "See Dick Drive" sticker on my truck.
  11. Well...the alternative is flipping it into a forward cartwheel by touching the front brake. Avoiding crashing by laying it down shows more control.
  12. Dunno yet. Scouting out acreage outside of the metropolis. So far Marysville-ish, Marengo-ish--but nothing concrete.
  13. Black Teknic Lighning 2-pc suit, size 44. Worn only 4-5 times. Otherwise has been hanging in the closet for a couple years. Seriously...it's about 3 bug splats from being brand-new. Would really like to get it out of my closet. Per the original Teknic website description, size 44 is for a rider 6" 170 lbs. Looking to get $185...Original retail was $650 From the Teknic website:
  14. I cannot remember whose this is/was...the photo has been floating around for a while: Note the exhaust rerouted out the brakelight cavity.
  15. A bit of a joke, son. Along the lines of your 2b entry. I communicate in English, Lakota, and Spanish...But would hardly consider myself a proper grammartarian. I am finding that certain subtleties apparently do not translate in this part of the country.
