    M&P Shield

The Shield is the best carry gun I have put my hands on. It comes down to personal preference.
  2. I will be out of town, but troublemaker on here is taking my RX7 to the show. Sounds like it'll be a good show.
  3. Ok, I'll try to set up a time to meet next week, providing its still available. Money talks and first to come and get it would be my expectation.
  4. There is every level of ease and difficulty with it. Easy: a setting in your garmen that will just tell you everywhere it's been until you/ it is cleared. A little more work: basically a tracker that puts out a signal that you look up and it gives you a location. Much like what people are using when they put a chip in a pet.
  5. Is there still the issue of colt parts not matching up with non colt parts? I stopped following colt because of that limitation. If it is no limitation, I'll be back in town next week and would like to look at it.
  6. Not bad at all. I'll be back in town next week, maybe Eric and I (Clark too if you like) can come by and take a look?
  7. We both have memberships there. However, that's farther than we are looking to take a class. Looking to stay close to 270.
  8. I believe the PK380 is the same frame as their P22. I have to say I love the fit and feel of the gun. I'm not a 380 fan how ever, but only for its price and lack of ammo at times. My buddy's wife has a PK and he and her both love it. No issues ever, he says.

    Coming Home

Good to see the time has gone by for you. Let's be sure to get a drink and introduce ourselves. Good talking to you over there.
  10. Track vids are a great training tool for you and your coach. I have been getting go pro vid of all my track days on the bike this year and they are a huge eye opener. For someone not riding with you, behind you or in front of you, they do become boring in common cars. On the track, man it fells like I am flying, then I watch the vid. Nope, just an average Joe. I personally like seeing track vids though. If you had fun and learned a little more = win.
  11. Good news folks, we have been given a pick up date of September 12. I will post exacts as soon as I have picked them up. Thanks for understanding.

    Expendibles 2

Saw it last night with my girl. As we are leaving, she says there were tons of one liners, and they were great. Yup, they were cheesy, but the fit well and were funny. We both enjoyed it and it was action packed. Don't over thinking, it's a movie, not a documentary. Will watch again.
  13. Great move, and commitment Scott. If you like the rower, go with that. It is full body and it feels great too. I do it for warm up and for 5 minutes after, on back day. It comes down to get what you'll enjoy. I have an adjustable bench and dumbells that will get you almost everything for lifting you would want or need.
  14. Tried credit karma and got so much junkmail and spam email, I had to go in and delete ally info. Not one piece of good credit info came from my expiriance. To include, even getting my credit report. That was 18 months ago. I worked in finance for 10 years and just wanted to track my info. I knew how to read it and what to do with what I was reading. They were useless. Now I either work with USAA or Kemba. Both are rock stars at keeping shit simple.

    CCW question.

Additional training will be available. It will stick to the basics of marksmanship and realistic distance engagements. My time training people and the courses I have been through are just that, courses and training. Not combat. In my deployment,s I have never had to fire a round. I have found other means to resolve situations that were authorized to shoot, per our rules of engagement. I don't want to misrepresent to anyone. Marc, he's a damn good shot with a pistol, what can I say? I hit the target and have a good group. I've seen Eric shoot a golf ball, then just keep shooting it from where it lands. It's impressive. Time lines have varied from what people have told us. We are staying in touch to try and help this along.
  16. Bronze star is losing its. Value. I was put in for one and it was stupid. If its not a V I'm good with an ARCOM. And I did nothing V worthy. Too many D bags running around with a Bronze Star like they wore cape and had a S on their chest when all they did was their job or less. I read an atical a last year about Marine scout sniper who received the bronze star with valor. From his vantage point, he saw roughly 100 enemy surrounding a squad size element in a small town. The fire fight was already on. With his well place shots, he evened the odds and the enemy eventually withdrew. So the math on that is about 13 Vs 100. Thant the 100 quit. Fuck ya! That man gets a medal.

    CCW question.

Myself and Eric finished our NRA certification classes last Saturday. We are waiting for our credentials to be mailed to us before we run our own class. It is a 12 hour class, with range time. Once we have our credentials, we will then be able to pass on my over 20 years of military weapons training, and Eric's pistol Marksmanship training. Sadly, Eric out shoots me with a pistol. We will be thorough, yet we bring something new from what we are seeing being taught. I have already made arrangements with Anthony for a banner with our info, once we are ready to go. If you're in a hurry, there are many places out there. If you want training that will stick with you and someone you can contact in the future; hang tight and we will be happy to work with you. Prices, dates, and locations will be posted once we have info to Anthony. There is a CR discount and a few other incentives.
  18. I'm loving the van's too. I would rock than van in more ways than one.
  19. Everyone yells turbo, but doesn't know the car enough to know there is no reputable kit out there at this time for that car. And piecing one together is some very tight fabricating. I friend of mine just built a kit for a customer. In the end, he said it was a pain in the ass and he way under budgeted for time on this. so he finished it hoping to get some name recognition for future, different builds. Unless you swap, upgrade what has been proven to work and save yourself the headache. Fun little car. Enjoy
  20. Loves me some FJ done right. Nice set up
  21. Good fix. That was entertaining.
