A few friend's (some from here) and I are heading up to Mad River Mountain for the day. There will be craziness, as this is the day before I have to fly back to Afghanistan. Even if you don't snowboard or Ski, this may be worth going to. They have a patio over looking the terrain park. You can just sit and drink, while people hurl themselves into the air and fail to land upright. Great camera and video opertunities will present themselves. Laughs are a sure thing.

BTW, I'm not an old car buff, but it kinda pisses me off the way Hollywood take these old cars that are pimped up, and destroys them. There aren't that many left, and they cash them in. $$ rules in that shit.

I think the let downs people have posted are from having too high of a expectaion. How big a PITA must that set be to work on. Next month, January 11-15th. That's leave Columbus evening of the 11th, drive back Sunday the 15th. Have room in a Nissan Xtera for 1-3. Jesse, Troublemaker, has done this trip with me before. It's a ton of fun. It's a 13 hour drive, so know that before you read on. We will be on the hill Friday and Saturday. One day will be at Sugarbush, http://www.sugarbush.com/. Maybe both days, as they have 2 mountains, and both are very fun. There is a chance we may hit Killington, http://www.killington.com/winter/index.html. Depending on conditions, Jay Peak(the best kept secret in the North East), may get hit too. http://www.jaypeakresort.com/. Sugarbush is for sure, and there is room to discuss the other day. You would be riding with my buddy Mike, one of the first 7 members here on CR, but not active on the site anymore. Still very much into cars with a CTS-V and other toys. I will be in the Suby with my girl, we are staying longer to visit with my family up there. He is looking to split gas and hotel room. We are looking to stay here, http://www.greenmountainsuites.com/. I got us a rate of $94 a night, Mike pulls a GOV rate too. The place is freaking awesome. We don't eat at expensive places. And I'm working a deal to MAYBE get free lift tickets for one day at a mountain. Don't plan on it, but trying. You should be a capable rider. We are not pro, but there isn't much we won't ride. Lots of time in the glades, dodging trees and playing off the beaten path, is what we prefer. This is the best deal you can get to ride in Vermont. There won't be much sleep, but it will be worth it. All you have to do is have the $ to cover your way. Not be a dick. And be respectful to My dudes ride, like it was yours. I'd say about $450ish would be your cost, Just fyi.

Just got my email from Tony, the guy running the Rally, they want to talk to me. Looks like Tony is getting a call from Afghanistan. Man, I am stoked for this!!! Doc and Farkas, I'm going to be in Columbus in a few weeks, like the 9th of January. Would love to chat with you guys, maybe see the club house, and may see how we can all work together on this.

If you read his page, he is very understanding to his 7th-12th possitions. I think we all know he's not the best in Rally. But, he is playing a damn good part and isn't a dick. Has anyone seen him do Rally Cross? I think that might be more his thing.
