  1. LOL. What kind of security clearance comes with decoding screen names? I get it now that you point it out. Had no idea that's what it meant.
  2. Got a pick of it flipped over? Any markings on it. Basic Molle attachment/pouch like item so far.
  3. No problem. I understand your frustration. You've probably seen this, but it might help. http://www.pheaa.org/funding-opportunities/loan-forgiveness/index.shtml?ref=mURL
  4. Nowhere did I read you had conditions like that. If you have mentioned it in other threads, I can't say it's something I'm aware of. I was simply putting info out there. If it works for you, great. If someone else reads it, and it works for them, great. I get that you are pissed about your loans, but understand that I wasn't asking you qualifying questions, I was trying to make you aware of something that might be an option. Your knowledge of your situation allows you to disqualify yourself.
  5. Are the loans Federal?
  6. Actually, join the service, go to school where you want. Active duty GI Bill puts about $65k for you to spend on your school. National Guard will Pay 100% to any state funded school, like OSU being about $48K for 4 years. Go active duty and pay into GI BIll, then go National Guard, have the Guard pay for your school and you can pocket about $1500 a month from your GI Bill. OR, rack up your student loans, then go in the National Guard and take a job with $50,000 student loan repayment. Bye, bye student loans, in 6 years. Then your done.
  7. The pre opener just allows members access to race. It is not free, unless you use your free passes.

Great intro! Welcome to CR. Sounds like you will do well here.
  9. You do not. I went into detail in the other thread.
  10. You do not have to use them during the members pre opener. When you go in the first time you will get your member card and sign your waiver. The lap sessions are a credit on your card. We used 2 last night and will use the other one, the next time we go back. As a member, you don't have to sit through the safety brief every time. So, that speeds up you checking in, and getting right on the track, if there is a group ready and room for you.
  11. Let's get off topic again. Yenner's out there being freakin poetic with a smash. I'm looking for the pain and suffering law suit to surface from that rebuttle.
  12. ^^ I do it everyday, like I'm playing Mario Kart. I use to litter quite a bit, because I hated anything being in the car. Now I clear the car when I get home and have a large trash barrel in the shop, near where I park every night.
  13. Good to meet you Jon. We can't wait to get back there. It's just going to get faster there.
  14. Feel free to add to this as you have an experience that may help others. I will check it from time to time for change of procedures or policies. The process as of March 27, 2013 is a very simple process. Your current valid, expired, or any other previously issued license that has not been revoked is proof that at one time you have been issued a competency certificate. Follow the following steps and you will be able to renew your concealed handgun license in Ohio. 1. Research the appointment method for the county you plan on applying in. 2. Complete the Ohio Concealed Handgun License Application 3. Obtain a passport photo for the application. This can be done on a home computer and printer as long as the size requirements are met. 4. At the appointment show the sheriff your current concealed handgun license, pay the fee of $50, and have a fingerprints and a photograph taken. 5. Wait for the sheriff to call stating your license is ready to be picked up. You are not bound to renewing with the Sheriff's office that issued your current license. You may renew with the Sheriff that issued your license if you still live in that county or an adjoining county. Otherwise, you may also renew with any county adjoining the county in which you currently live in. The new Sheriff's Office will issue you a license that has a different license number than the one you currently hold since the numbers are unique to the issuing county. This site will help you. http://www.ohioccw.org/wiki/Renew_an_Ohio_concealed_handgun_license
  15. Bulk still seems to be the way to go, of course. I get my 9mm from freedom ammunition. 1000 shipped for $248. I was able to get 62gr 5.56, 500rd, shipped for $214. That's not great, but it's a good deal for what I like.
  16. Today and tomorrow are members pre-opening invite days. Members can bring up to 4 friends with them. Official opening is on Friday, but that's all been posted. Today, the wife and I had to check it out. Now, if you have followed them on Facebook, you know they have been doing a ton of track prep. It is faster. Is the drifting all gone? Well, that would depend on how you drive. In my first session, I could not resist hammering the gas and stabbing the brakes. Plenty of option to drift still. Second session, I settled in a little more and tried to learn the track a bit. Low and behold, I got a respectable time, with noticeable difference from winter sessions, and after track prep. I think my Winter fastest time was 42.079 and that was after 5 lap sessions. Came right in today starting in the same'ish time 42.089. First session Second Session Make note of my wifes' times in the second session. That is pretty damn good for someone who isn't really into cars, but LOVES these Go Karts. I was able to get my time down to 40.046 And I'm fine with that. Someone will clock off a 37.xxx before much longer. A fastest time was set while we were on the track, by Steve, an employee I have gotten to know. He got the 38.726. However Kent, the track manager, went right out and laid down a 38.5xx I believe in the next session. I think this place is going to be keeping us all very competitive. A couple notable things. The staff/management are awesome. The management is very involved and excited to see you having fun. That just makes it even more enjoyable. They have some newer people, so it will take them a minute to find their grove, but they are adamant about getting you taken care of. If you do not get a pre-opening membership, 5/15 is the last day, you will wish you had. Buy it online now. Also, they are ready for use to set up our OR track event. It would seem that week nights would be best for this. I'm sure their weekends are going to be far too busy with public traffic. I will talk to them this week to get us on the calender. Please read this in detail to help you be informed for your visits. You will see, a membership is the way to go.

I have about 5 track days in this gear. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/th_E559BC23-00E7-4CD2-9145-0D3358D95C48-749-000000BCAC933BCF_zps9d521434.jpg Alpine Stars Super Tech R boots with magnesium toe sliders.
