  1. Even if it looked "good as new", you can not trust the integrity of the wheel. Let it go and be done with it.
  2. The beauty of a $45 ticket, for them, is many people won't fight it. Myself included. I'm not taking the time to go back downtown. I have no front plate displayed. You got me. I'm just pretty suprised at the whole meter maid being the one to hand them out. Now I know.
  3. I don't see how they would earn you any points. There is nothing about it on the ticket.
  4. A quick search, I didn't see one. I feel I'm on here quit a bit, but have never seen a front plate thread. I posted this thinking others may not know either. So, I hope this helps someone. The whole front plate sucks, is a dead horse. And $45 is a lot better that $119 the CPD would give you for getting pulled over. It is what it is.
  5. Maybe I'm new to this whole parking thing. First, I'm not a big fan of going downtown. But, we went for a friend's lunch, so it's fine. I always over pay my meter. I had 126 minutes on the meter. While at lunch, I remind my friend's to feed their meter if needed. They went out and did so. After luch I get to my car and have a ticket, and plenty of time on the meter. WTF? NO FRONT PLATE ticket from a meter main! Are you shitting me? FU, you got me. Just supports not going down there. I'm due a ticket anyways, I'll never run a front plate. Just would rather they say for $45 a year you don't have to. I had no idea they could get you for anything other than the meter. So, if you didn't know, now you know. Now fill these damn pot holes Columbus.
  6. I hate to see a thread like this. I would like to see a follow up to how things go if you report it, and if they do or don't work with you. Pot holes seem nuts this year. I'm still running my winter tires, for more sidewall. And the FD isn't coming out until they unfuck the pot holes. Good luck
  7. When you say qulity and mostly shooting from a bench, I think most out there will cover that. If you are looking into something you are going to lean into hard from the prone, and need it to dig in and stick, then I would justify spending a bit more for a sturdy bipod. This is a pretty basic one that holds some weight. http://www.preciseshooter.com/blog/PriceGuide/AR15.jpg
  8. I will be on that track in June, in the Maclaren. Though, I'm may change it after watching many vids. I'm not sure I will enjoy a paddle car. Although, given their inventory, that leaves me very few cars to choose from if I don't go with a paddle car. First world problems.
  9. Came here to post this.I have never heard a bad thing about them. I love that they are a race shop. As for other shop's; putting on flame suit, Auto Assets in Powell. I've heard plenty of good and bad. They did the work to my 3 series, back when I was Bimmerjoe. They took care of me very well and went far beyond any other shop I have dealt with. They invited and trailered my car to a couple track days. Treated me like a customer who had $50k + in work done, and all I had done was bolt on's and a tune. I've stopped in now and then, and the staff has changed a bit, but that's to be expected over 10 years.
  10. I have been using this brand new stuff, might have heard if it, Invisible glass.
  11. If by shape, you mean round. Yes, she is.
  12. I think there is a fan base for them, because it's what the military mostly uses. Honestly, I hadn't shot one in 5+ years, and very little before that. I shot quite a bit of other handgun, then had to qualify with the M9 last year. It pissed me off a little, like I was a gun snob. And, I shoot very average guns.
  13. I have shot it for year's. I can shoot pretty well with them. I see people go after them, often. I just don't get it. I'm not really a fan. It's heavy, clunky, and there are far smoother functioning handguns out there these days. Looking to get peoples thoughts and outlook why you would go for one, likes and dislikes.
  14. Some of you may not know Clark. His gun care and detail are top notch. If there are guns you are in the market for, these are great deals to jump right in and shoot. GLWS
  15. Kid showed good discipline. Good for him stupid bully chick got what was deserved.
  16. Here's my write up. I hate when I write something and don't proof it. This thing is a mess, but you get the point. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115531&highlight=Subaru
  17. Buyers Subaru treated us shadey. It would be Worth it to visit Hatfield Subaru on Georgesville Rd. Lori Glick got me a Legacy specB a few years ago, and a XV just a few months ago.
  18. How old? How many rounds through it? Any ammo come with it?
  19. Waiting for the ATF to come out with "If has a charging handle = not a pistol". I like these a lot. Look fun to shoot.
  20. Great deal. I shot a bit of their ammo last year and liked it.
  21. Bump. Still need a few more people for this class.
  22. They sure have gone out of their way to get the odd things I have asked them to find. And they have been very friendly every time I go in there. I don't do the growler's though.
  23. Not only did he fail to check on his girl, someone else did. He goes back to the Mazda, picking up a piece of the Lamborghini front the ground, then discarding it. Just seemed more like an ass than anything else.
