  3. I enjoy reading these reviews. Glad I stuck with the 360.
  4. Thanks. I understand. Can't say I would be drawn to train from someone like "fat" either. The site might get you started if you call around. Hope it works out.
  5. Going on the NRA's instructor site, I was able to pull these for that area. You can alter the zip for other surrounding area's if you like. I don't have a referral, but this may put you in touch with someone and you can go from there. http://www.nrainstructors.org/searchcourse.aspx
  6. Train at the level you feel comfortable committing to. More than likely, whatever scenario you have in your head for when you need a gun, likely won't be the one you do need one for. You don't get to pick when someone wants you to be their victim, and how. So be open minded. Train with anything you think might be helpful. Even if it's the broom. As for guns; if that's your go to choice to defend with, have the right tool or tool's for the job and know how to be effective with it. Like Randy said, a 12hr class does not make you awesome. Training time, and a little bit of luck, is what's needed to better your odds in any situation.
  7. I met with Aaron, the owner, last week. What they plan to be able to do there is going to be awesome. There are plans for an outside track for off road trucks. These things are awesome. I'm telling you, get your memberships now so you can have all the fun.
  8. Thanks for the referral guys. Shameless plug: Next class, http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117675
  9. Oh, how I wish we could say, "I'm not paying taxes anymore because you have misused the money".
  10. 9mm is usually available and at a good price here.http://www.freedommunitions.com/9mm-Luger-Ammunition-s/1818.htm
  11. Agree with all that's been said. However, I could support the in the hills folks needing it to hunt for food.
  12. They only work on hippies.
  13. LOL. I forgot about those.
  14. That 36 type of the same thing. Shot, slug and variations of the same. That is not what he is looking for.
  15. Apparently, my deal was a back order and not a rain check. meaning, they ship it when it comes in. I was going to bump up the amount to get you in, Tim. However, with a back order, I'm not able to.
  16. I haven't found any place local to Columbus. Although, this place is in northern Ohio. http://www.americanspecialtyammo.com/12_Gauge.html I've been looking at their site for a while. They have some neat stuff.
  17. Lunch time bump. I dare say, this is actually a fun class.
  18. Typically there aren't CD/boot CD's that are coming with new computers. We had several issues that were said would be fixed with "boot CD's", yet none were with any of the 20+ systems. The fix ended up being someone downloading one from a torrent, then using that to gain access. We were outside the US, so our means to fix the issue were rather restricted. Have you considered calling where you bought it? Best Buy, or where ever you bought it, and telling them it needs reset and came with no disc's. I would call them and be almost insistent they take care of it.
  19. We looked for 8 months for the right house. The realtor was my friend, Tom Kenect. He's also an appraiser, but he can only do one or the other for you. He mad house hunting fun. He's the happy chubby guy, all the time. I didn't want some stuffy suit shoving a house at me, so they can get paid. I bet we looked at 30+ house's, from Marysville to almost Sunbury. Tom was having fun the whole time. Give him a call, he'll take care of you. 614-561-1972. Marc did our mortgage too. I spent 8 years as a mortgage broker, and Marc was awesome to work with. I had things with my financing that were out of the normal. Marc and his staff still had me taken care of very fast.

    Hey Doc

Pushing limits just makes things a bit more fun. Who better to be very genuine and actually trying to stay in the limits? Good work Doc, and congrats.
