So I'm completely new to biking in general and just bought a bike to start riding in spring. In the mean time I was hoping to tinker with a project dirt bike over winter. I was wondering if either of these bikes look like a potentially good deal on a project bike (something that won't take 100's to get running, not too shot too hell)?! You guys being dirt riders would know better than anyone. God I hate our court system! I had something along these lines.... (some may say I'm at fault, I think I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time): It was about 9am, and I was passing Kent Rosevelt High School going to work up north. The school zone sign wasn't flashing and school had already been in session for over an hour. There wasn't any other cars around to gauge my speed on so I was going about 39 in a 35. Cop just outside of the zone pulls me over for speeding in a school zone. I explained the situation to him, but, still got the ticket because I just "should have known better." Repeated this story to the Judge who was a little more forgiving admitting he understood my situation, but, since I'm a minor he couldn't do anything about it and had to penalize me.... Ohio Driving Laws are bullshit. Our state fucks us over every way possible and shit needs to change.

Honestly, this country needs to reevaluate! I mean, I'm not complaining that anywhere else is better. The US is one of the best places in the world to live.... I would just like to see a little of the "change" we've been promised. (And this is coming from a more liberal hippy/dem who would have voted for Obama had I been old enough to cast my say!)

It's not about ability to operate a vehicle, or how aware or cautious "motor" drivers and buggy drivers are, it's about how great the difference in operation and vehicle ability that's the problem. No matter how good you are at putting the peddle to the floor in a brand new F150, it's not gonna do 7 sec 1/8 times and be able to corner like a z4.... PLUS - If they don't want to pay taxes, FUCK 'EM! GET OUT OF OUR COUNTRY! You can't choose to be a citizen but refuse to pay taxes based on religious beliefs. I'm not even a god damned legal adult citizen yet, and the government is still constantly dipping into every single one of my pay checks! Get off the roads you white-bearded hillbillys!

Oh, and you've definitely got a point here. I guess maybe things haven't really changed much, but I might just be much more aware of discourteous drivers ever since I started driving about 2 years ago.... Either way, it's a major problem.

Haha. Whoa now! I'm not rockin' a bad comb over and doing the duck walk now. Just sayin.... in my area, that's as pinpointed as you can get it. (Remember now, I live in Orange and was in the Orange public school system until sophmore year. I was part of the about 5% of students who weren't Jewish) I'm not trying to say it has anything to do with religion, although around where I live it's just a fact. So, that's just a little clarification for those who were questioning my religious tolerance! (Don't wanna get myself in trouble or anything ) P.S. - I do love myself some corned beef and gafilte fish!
