  1. Had one, a 2012 Unlimited Rubicon, six speed, 4.10 gears. Loved everything about it. Would buy again. Pentastar engine is fabulous, with plenty of power. If I bought again, I'd probably get the 5 speed auto. I never towed with it, but I imagine you could tow whatever it's rated for with ease. Incredible resale value. I bought mine new for $36,700 plus tax, and sold it 13 months/21k miles later for $34k. I miss it regularly.
  2. I smoked for 23 years, and haven't had a cigarette since November 2013 thanks to vaping. My main "go to" setup, Provari and a Kayfun. Dead reliable vape, with enough juice capacity to last a 12 hour day at work. I also have a few other setups for playing around.
  3. Of all the bikes I've owned(more than a dozen), I miss my 2005 V-Strom 1000 the most. Thanks to Pokey, the bike ran flawlessly! From Maine to the north Georgia mountains, and everywhere in between, that bike never missed a beat. I was stupid thinking I wanted something different, and I've regretted selling it since.
  4. Just so you know I'm not talking out my ass: https://www.chase.com/checking/debit-cards
  5. My debit card(1) has all the protection my credit card(1) has.
  6. Oh, and my guess, a Falcon, based off a Burgman 650.
  7. If you're going to get a trike, why not just get a convertible car? Seriously. A trike doesn't do anything good. If you were handicapped in some way that prevents you from riding a motorcycle, I understand a trike. Other than that, I don't get it. Not hating, just asking.
  8. 1981 Honda Express, shared with brother. I was 9 when we bought it. 1974 Yamaha DT 175, purchased with paper route money when I was 13. 1985 Yamaha V Max, purchased with money from working at a gas station when I was 17. Yes, I was 17 and had a V Max. I'm lucky to be alive...but I've always been badass.
  9. Ride as fast as you can out of Ohio, towards Rt.47 in WV, right outside of Parkersburg. Take Rt.47 to Rt. 33, and follow that all the way to Harrisonburg VA. Spend the night in Harrisonburg. Next morning, take Rt.33 further East until you hit the Blue Ridge Parkway. BRP south until Ashville NC. From Ashville, it's just a short little jaunt to Deals Gap. Here's the tricky part...instead of taking that short jaunt to Deals Gap, ride some local roads around Asheville for two days. Just NE of Ashville, right off the BRP, find 226 and 226A. Go to Mapquest and look. Drool! I could make Asheville my base camp, and ride roads around there for a week. Fuck Deals Gap in the ass with a fork.
  10. Made in China. Not surprised. /
  11. When I did my research, and this was surprisingly backed up by the link I provided that was previously suggested, most motorcycle rentals forbid taking them to the Isle of Man. I'm sure someone might rent where it's possible, but for me and the experience I want, a motorcycle isn't necessary.
  12. That means you buy the beer and hookers for me and Todd, right?
  13. Ideally, I'd like to arrive a few days before "race week", and stay through the end of the races...so maybe 8 or 9 days. When you consider travel as the biggest percentage of the cost, staying an extra day or two doesn't really add that much to the total trip.
  14. We fly to the UK, take the ferry over, have a hotel and car booked in advance, and proceed to get seriously shit faced every night, and our heads blow off by fast motorcycles and sidecars during the day. How long do you want to stay, and what's your credit card number. We split everything 50/50, besides beer and hookers.

  16. Todd, I could not be more serious when I say, if you really want to make plans to go, and want some kick ass company, I'll go, regardless of what it costs to do it. Seriously, I'm serious. This has been a dream of mine for years, and I thought long and hard about going this year(supposedly the last year Guy Martin will race the TT)...but next year will be much better for me. Seriously, I'll go. Seriously. Passport in hand.
