  1. "Class-one criminal" my ass. You got a fine, get over it. Don't throw your cigarettes out your damn window while you're driving. Because if someone like me happens to be driving behind you, I have no qualms following you to your destination and then kindly asking for all of your cash to fix burn spots on my paint.
  2. Thanks for all input fellas, that combined with my GF's "advise", I've basically ended up choosing a new Voyager. Should be negotiating everything, tomorrow at Verizon.
  3. With the 2.3L like my car, it's relatively eco. The 5sp. auto has a Freeway OD which makes it more of a cruiser than my 5sp. manual with shorter gears. In the city, don't expect good fuel economy, at all. when I drove an auto 3 around for a bit (same engine/tranny but lighter) I did mid 20's in the city with it (but I'm a conscious driver)... It's not a quick car but for an average DD it should be good. That engine is built well and it's quite rare to hear about someone blowing one (I think I've heard two cases ever, and they were beating on it). If your buddy can get over the bland looks of the car, tell him to look at a 7th gen (03-07 I think) Accord 4cyl. sedan. From what I've heard, they are a better DD car. They can be had at a decent price these days...
  4. Looks like a speech feeder. It reels passages of speeches onto the screen so the speakers don't forget the important stuff.
  5. It's time for a new one. My current one is apparently a "1st gen RAZR" or something like that and it's beat to hell. I don't really follow what the latest, coolest phone is. I'm picking up the gf tomorrow and going phone shopping. She recommended a place off Henderson. I thought someone on here worked for Verizon and could get me up to speed on what's cool these days. I basically use a phone for texts and calls, I don't need any internet, music or whatever all that shit is. A full keyboard sounds pretty cool though... Any comments on the subject?
  6. .509 after a couple tries. I still miss the real thing though. Can't want for Spring.
  7. Nice Speed. I drive the significantly slower version
  8. Well first off, Hi welcome to CR. Oddly enough, I have a friend named Ryan Carroll who drives an Acura as well and I thought that was him making an account. lmao. Go for something a little less... fish faced on the front end and that thing will be hotness.
  9. I believe that generation of Sentra is unlimited electronically. They would theoretically "top out" in the mid-130mph range. It would just take ages to get there. This is in KM/H but you get the point... Thats just under 130mph.
  10. Yeah, I think you would get some unwanted attention with a tent sticking out of your Del Sol.
  11. Poor choice. If you're not going to autoX the car go with the Fit. This car is not a MPG machine. Especially with the auto 2.3 in the city. The manual trans. has shorter (* read: faster) 3rd, 4th and 5th gears so on the freeway it's at just under 3k rpm. However, this car is a blast to drive! If you're decent on the gas pedal you should see around 30mpg. That's what I get with a li'l effort, all city.
  12. Good stuff. Don't know much about the cars but good looking none the less. Does that model have IRS?
  13. - work clothes - various paperwork - quick detailer - ice scraper - loose change that I really need to pick up because it's driving me and my OCD crazy, rattling around and such!
  14. Sorry to threadjack, but is there a good website to look at for getting into AutoX around here once spring hits?
  15. I had 4 taken out, all were impacted. I was out of wack for most of day and slept a lot. Then the next week or two was pretty much horrific, constant pain. I couldn't eat properly for about 2 weeks once the stitches "dissolved" or whatever it is that they do.... Basically, everyone reacts differently to the procedure and the following after effects.
  16. That was a point that I was trying to make.
  17. I read the OP's thread and I thought to myself, "Damn, how old is this Kid to be that stoo-pid." And it turns out he's older than me. Don't buy a car just because you think you're helping a friend. You'll probably be doing him a disservice because when it breaks down, you will have to call his dumb ass to pick you up in his sweet new snow trailing beast.
  18. Best Firemen, ever. x2 about the titty bar and running it down the quarter.
  19. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice that. :woowoo: lmao.
  20. I get that shit all the time. Hell, even my DAD gets them all the time and he doesn't even OWN a Car (Company loaner)! lmfao. Who ever mentioned asking what model of car they're trying to "protect", good call. It's fucking excellent listening to the fear in their voices.
