  1. Looking for any input. I've found the following inexpensive for my 636 on ebay. Not sure what the quality is going to be like but I've heard some good feedback about an inexpensive wind screen.

    Looking at the following:

    Integrated tail light

    Flush mount signals

    Smoke Windscreen

  2. Hey I know that this should be in the parts forum but I do not have 50 posts so I cannot legally ask for this but I need a CHEAP 04-05 gsxr upper fairing stay. It just has to hold on my fairings I am not gonna be running a headlight or gauges.. its for suzy my stunt bike goin full fairinged again..lol did i say that right?

I know its not cheap, but the 905 upper stays are bmf!

  3. Trying to help someone out on where to send him. He needs some cosmetic work on I believe an 05 F4I

Rims neglected and scratched here and their from someone trying to use a screw driver and prybar to get the wheels on and off.... He was thinking about powdercoating the rims or painting them in a flat or gloss black. I told him to go with paint it should be cheaper.

Side panesl, they arent badly scuffed but he likes ridding a mint bike and wants to clean them up.

He's out of the Akron area, any recomendations?

  4. Sorry I'm kind of dumb when uploading pics. For some reason I cant upload anymore. If interested in either bike PM me with a valid email and I'll get the pics out to you ASAP. I will try to get more pics up later. Oh the 636 is bright Red.

  5. Shit... While I was in Pitt the weather was warm and nice for a few days. Some idiot was ridding an R1 2up Saturday while I was thier. Complete squid, no lids, reving it till 12 grand before letting out the clutch. He must have been lost in downtown. He kept going up and down the same streets. He almost dumped it each light when he would come to a stop.

Reguardless I really wanted to go for a ride Saturday.

  6. Just got back from Pittsburgh and the sun is out, temp is ok, and to my suprise now have 4 bikes in my garage... (Not sure why the extra, and Steve get your 636 outta here!). Back on topic I almost fired up one of my bikes and went around the block:eek:. But I didnt :(

  7. Sell it and buy one of these two. They're like a sporty couch without being ghey looking like those 'busas. :D

But seriously, those convertibars are very nice if you do end up trying them. I was thinking about it and the other problem I had was the lack of length on the throttle, brake, clutch wires. Lifting the clip-ons that high definitely stretched the lines out when at full-lock.

Not bad but I've always loved Honda and the Busa has always apealed to me (not for the fact of its speed and size). Lusted for it ever since highschool when it first came out. I did have a Triumph S3 for a bit and loved the ridding position of it.

  8. Really nice pieces. God, we get so raped on everything we buy. Only thing not to forget, you might have to lengthen every line, wire and hose.

I wish I could put a set on my RC

If thats not the truth... Its easy to get upside down with bikes/cars.

  9. Do you have credit to go with that $1200? This all depends on what your looking for or how mechanically inclined you are. If you look hard enough you can probabbly find something that cheap however you will spend at least that to get it back on the road. Just my .02

  10. Doh! I was about to say I'd have a set to sell you for less than that price but the 636 uses 50mm OD forks and the Ape uses 53mm OD forks.

They were on the Aprilia when I bought it. These things pretty much have unlimited adjustability and they are very nice, sturdy pieces of hardware. I never knew how much those damn things were! They've been sitting in a box since I switched back to stock clip-ons.

Yeah I about fainted when I saw the price... If you have those throw em up on ebay or the forum this spring. I'm sure someone would show interest.

I'll wait for my taxes before I order a set unless I find something cheap enough now.

  11. i have them....i like them

I know yours was a different app, but did you have to make any modifications to the bike?

I have helibars on my triumph and love them.

My buddy has a gixxer K with those on it and they are very nice! Helibar dosent offer a settup for my bike.
