  1. Could be bank angle sensor? My rc did that when the fuel pump was bad. Although it sat for 3yrs before I bought it and didn't start when I bought it. Online searching told me to check wire harness going to the pump the bank angle sensor then the rc had two relays in the tail to check 1 for the fuel pump and the other for the bank angle sensor. I checked it all but like I said it was a bad pump. Did you just get it out of storage, if so how was it winterized? Do you hear the pump prime when you turn the key on? There should be a simple way to check for FI codes just do a quick Google search. Also this may sound dumb but is the bike in neutral with the ign switch on?

  2. Worlds Fastest Indian pretty good along with easy rider mainly because its a classic. Mad max if you like old school bikes. But my favorite newer biker movie is Hellride. Basically its a motorcycle gang movie but there's some hot chicks and sweet bikes. No sport bikes though.

  3. Went to a gun show down here and a few people were selling these. I thought they were pretty cool so I bought one for me and one for my wife. I've always wanted a slapjack but couldn't find one for a good price in decent shape. Basically this is a ball bearing that's approximately 1" in diameter woven into a slapjack with paracord. It's slightly impractical as a key chain but throw some keys on it makes it look like less of a weapon so you don't frighten people.

  4. Ok so yesterday I pulled the plugs one at a time off the transfer case to test for current while my wife switched from 4wd and 2wd. I was using one of those test lights that looks like a screwdriver with a light inside and had the wire attached to a bolt on the frame. I don't think I ever found a good ground because I never got the light to light up. At some point the 4hi button quit doing anything (i don't know when because the wife didn't notice. But the 4lo kept engaging in the transfer case and I couldn't turn the drive shaft by hand, the wheels still didn't lock in and the light kept flashing. I found a bent pin inside the connection at the back of the transmission/transfer case that had a bent prong and I straightened it with a screw driver so it would plug into the connection properly. Nows when I noticed the 4hi was no longer flashing when pressed and 2hi was staying lit. I checked and realized I had blown the 4x4 fuse while testing for current and replaced it. Still no change with the 4hi button. I'll have to buy a new set of jack stands because somehow during the move they got left behind but ill put it up on stands and look at it asap.

  5. Sorry bout the pics but they don't really matter for some reason I was looking at the front differential. Dumbass attack! But I found the encoder motor after removing the skid plate but I ran outta light so I'll have to look at it tomorrow. I still haven't found the vacuum line.

  6. Ok cool ill check for a vacuum line in the back of the motor tonight and if there's no luck there I'll look into the transfer case motor.

I think the transmission is a 4l60e but not positive. I replaced the 4x4 actuator on the passenger side of the transfer case near where the front axle goes into it. The part was from autozone for $99.99 but they and their supplier were out of stock and didn't know when it would come in. So I went to autopartswarehouse dot com and found it for $73 free shipping and bought it Sunday. It came in last night and I installed it.

I wouldn't call it a lemon but I'm a lil pissed about the issues that it has that I wasn't told about and I've called and expressed my feelings about it but it doesn't change anything. So far I still feel its a good buy and worth the work. It was owned by an old couple and the guy died and granny couldn't climb into it so she had her daughter sell it to help with funeral costs. Being old people in Arizona I doubt the 4x4 was ever used by them. I should have thought about that when I test drove the truck and tried it instead of just asking like a dumb ass. Oh well live and learn I guess.
