The ones I had on my cbr were a pain in the ass to fit. It was a lot of work they looked pretty good when I got them on there but after a year they started chipping in the front. the paint wasn't that strong. They looked pretty slick at first but if you looked at it for awhile youd notice the imperfections which drove me nuts. I was going to switch back to the stock ones but I traded the bike in before I did it. If you plan on keeping it for a while go with stock spend the money.

I think that some people will be annoyed when they click on the thread titled "I" because they wanna know what is so cool about it that it already has this many posts. Once they read it they will be annoyed and feel let down kind of like when you ride a chopper for the first time.

I'm interested in this I have a xd .45. Are there any durability issues that might arise from doing this? If it is legal, how much you want to do it?

I don't see the big deal all the cool squids are taking the front brakes off of their pimped out sportbikes. Why not take em off the cars hell you still have 2 rear wheels with functioning brakes. It's not like car travel as fast as those squids and need to stop in a hurry like when they pass a babe on the side walk who gets blinded by the sunlight reflecting off of all the chrome.
