  1. Earlier in the game the challange was a Painted Barn or Barn with Something Painted on it and 20thGix posted aa barn with a county quilt on it and picked a strip club, abdecal posted a Bicentennial Barn but it was beat by 20thGix. If need be I will change it but QuikAccord did get what I asked for a Bicentennial Barn, let me know. Sorry for the confusion.
  2. Definately fuses, I had a problem with the Kaw blowing fuses and ran out because I forgot tho restock, as mentioned in another thread I had to resort to a beer can tab in place of a blade type fuse. The plus side to the gerry rig fuse was that I found the true problem, lol. I have replaced the factory kit screwdrivers with better ones like Kobalt or the like and carry the factory kit.
  3. Very good idea, glad it worked for you. That idea rates a little higher than my beer can tab turned into a blade type fuse.
  4. Here is your water tower. For the next challange, every county has an Ohio Bicentennial Barn. Show us one of those barns. .
  5. I agree, scatter and hope for the best. I don't mean hammer down and run, just start turning off on exits or side streets. Had a county deputy light three of us up one day because he heard me pipe a Harley that flipped us off. One of the guys with me was a newb that didn't even have a permit, all that happened was some noise so he followed us thru town. When he lit us up I told the newb to keep riding and I would pull over, one guy and myself pulled over and the deputy pulled off with us so the newb got away. The best part was the deputy seen nothing and couldn't prove who made the noise so he tried to write me for 11 mph over the limit, an arguement insued and I won, he let me off with a verbal warning for 1 mph over limit, he didn't even know the speed limit where we were.
  6. Even a mall or strip mall would be OK if it's sign is on the entrance to the building. Some places are in the building where you don't have access without breaking the law.
  7. Welcome and what kind of times can you turn with the Harley on the half mile oval? I haven't been to Eldora since the '94 Kings Royal.
  8. That sucks! Trust me, in the event of a tragedy there is no relief in the bottom of a bottle, when you wake up the scratches are still there.
  9. LOL, the way it filmed your walk back to it you looked like Charlie Chaplin or one of those old movie characters. Those last couple bikes almost assisted in it's suicide attempt.
  10. Hey, we are getting modernized here, we got a Red Box about six months. For the next challenge a piece of retired military equipment as in a tank, helicopter or cannon. It doesn't matter if its at the local VFW or in the town square. .
  11. Great, I wasn't sure if you meant something like the ones that I saw in Massillon and Medina that I believe are ice cream only. The buildings look like a giant ice cream cone but both of them I believe are closed down, I've never seen them open in ten years but something like that would probably have weird hours.
  12. We have several private owned ice cream shops around here that also sell sandwiches and such, would they count? Sort of like a private owned dairy queen type joint. This one is called Chilly Willy's and has been in business for close to 50 years or more. I don't know of any ice cream only shops in this area and this is why I pick something a little on the generic side, some of the places picked would take me on a five to seven hour round trip. If this counts, the next challenge is a Pizza Hut. .

    Fallin Rider

Sorry for the loss of your friend, hang tough.
  14. I guess I should admit that I resemble a lot of them riders, some in helmet, t-shirt and jeans and some that are fat. When my kid asked me why I didn't wear a jacket, I told him they would have to kill a whole heard of cows to make me a coat. Really though my height seems to be just as much of a problem as my roundness, I can find riding jackets big enough around but they aren't long enough. Many years ago when I drag raced one summer I had to wear this winter weight coat that weighed like 10 pounds with the liner removed and it really wasn't long enough either.
  15. Passed two OSP's south on SR83 outside Coshocton and two around Conesville on SR16 this evening.
  16. Nice '55, I wasn't thinking when I stated the years but now we have another challenge for later. I passed a Shelby Cobra replica on the highway a little while ago, it didn't look too bad either.
  17. I was going to sit this one out but, I couldn't resist because I got the Bandit back on the road yesterday evening. For the next challenge show us your bike with a '60-'70's muscle car, this should be a good weekend to find one.
  18. Get healed up but don't overwork it if you have surgery. A friend of mine had that surgery done and thought he would speed up recovery by working out and even though he did light work outs he overworked it and ruined the repair job. Good luck with it and prayers sent.
  19. Oops, I forgot about that part, how you doing with it?
  20. Clear your head and jump back on the bike, take a few extra miles to or from work or whatever it takes but get out there. I'm starting to feel like a thread killer.
  21. OK everyone, I didn't realize until I looked at the map last night that there are virtually no or very scarce race tracks west of the Columbus, Chillicothe area. Sorry about that, so as to rule #1 After 3 days, the person who made the challenge can post their own picture and pick another topic, I present you with this. Damn, just missed getting the whole motorcycle parking sign. Now for an easy challenge, get us a pic of your bike with a bike in someones yard for sale, not yours and not a dealer.
  22. Very sharp looking bike and the Honda isn't bad either. Two thumbs up.
