  1. I got a little over an hour in but its better than nothing, the youngest kid has a track meet I got to go to.
  2. Here is the Coshocton County Court House, about the only way to get a better pic would be to stand in the middle of traffic and cut down some trees. Besides being a professional photographer that is, hope this counts. If this pic counts, the next challenge is to get a pic of your bike in front of a small country type church. There are enough back roaders here that this shouldn't be a problem.
  3. Even if you don't attend church a pastor can be a great person to talk to. A lot of churches have someone to talk to so these things don't snowball.
  4. Even though it wasn't motorcycle related a shot to the eye can sting, I received this present Saturday. I had safety glasses on but the air from the die grinder blew the grindings into my face and some made it under the glasses. I've collected bugs at 25 mph that didn't feel any better than this. Hope the guy at least learns to keep the shield down to protect his eyes. By arshooter at 2012-05-15
  5. ^^^^ LOL, I know that couple!
  6. Agreed, I think thats why several years back a couple states gave Oklahoma first shot at Gilbert and Elliot from here when they went on their crime spree. Let Ok. kill them and we don't have to pay to keep them.
  7. He will get off scot free, after all he looks just like Obumer's son.
  8. Here you go, Funday's in New Phila. Next, how about your favorite spot for bbq ribs.
  9. If I was to guess you may have been in the Peoli to Sally's hilltop store area, between those two points there is a couple amish families with packs of dogs. Not saying there isn't more than that but my cousin lives in that area and has trouble with dogs coming over on his place and chasing his horses.
  10. That sucks, glad you are OK. Where aprox. were you on 258?
  11. That is probably what got the trooper's attention in the first place.
  12. Will do, sometimes I drop off the ol' lady at her moms and go kill time somewhere. I'll have to send a PM ahead of time, I don't have one of them fancy internet phones, lol.
  13. Have to check that out one of these evenings. We go visit the MIL at the old folks home at least twice a week and by the time we get home, sometimes 8-9 pm, it is easier to grab a bite out than to go home and cook that late.
  14. I thought there were just houses in that area, is it in a house?
  15. When you guys are riding thru Coshocton and feel the need for some grub I would recomend Sloopys in the mini plaza on Second Street. We have stopped there a few times and have not been let down yet and the prices are fair. I gave their new chili cheese fries a try today and they were pretty darned good and the wife was very pleased with her taco salad. They are working in new menu items and meal deals like a certain day kids eat free and a Sunday all you can eat pancakes. Stop in and give them a shot, we think its worth it.
  16. Those turned out great, a lot better than I had expected and a solid two thumbs up.
  17. speedytriple, here is a pic of the '98 I had. I stripped the edge of the wheels just like yours, I'm not sure if that will get done on this one or not. By arshooter at 2012-05-01
  18. I guess that you can add me here too.
  19. Not to derail your post but the other day I had a biker pull out in front of me and then preceed to drive for a quarter mile or so at 25 mph in a 55 zone. It took him that long to look in his mirror and realize that three cars was tailing him and get moving. Bikers need to look before they pull out also, just a reminder.
  20. I never cared as much for the model with no fairing until a friend of mine bought a silver one. There is something about the silver that it looks worlds better than the other colors with no fairing, that was a nice bike speedytriple.
  21. BTW, that is "NOT" my helmet hawk, lol.
  22. Thanks everyone, I traded the 2000 DRZ 400 for it and I couldn't believe that the DRZ actually booked higher than the Bandit but it was worth it for me because now I can look forward to a ride for more than 50-60 miles. I will be leaving this one stock because the seventeen year old don't need any encouragement on showing off for the guys, he's been there done that and hopefully remembers the lesson he learned.
  23. Just to break it up a bit here is a song for the Sunday drivers out there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luKmSLXukaw&feature=related
  24. I picked my user name because my maroon '98 Bandit 1200 S was probably my favorite bike and I had to let it go several years back. I picked up another one on Sunday, a blue '97 1200 S, it has a few scrapes, dings and a few miles on it but it seems to run good and the only thing that I saw not working was the tag light (bad bulb). It has new tires, brakes and battery so it should be good to go for a while and I started going over it tonight as a just in case. My kid is working out a schedule for me to ride it on the days he can't, lol. By arshooter at 2012-04-29 By arshooter at 2012-04-29
