Hell, I didn't even know there was basketball before LeBron.

Sorry, I just seen your question. How about $10 plus shipping?

A local school teacher was talking of selling his 250 Ninja for $2000, if you would like I will ask for sure if he wants to sell it.

CrazySkullCrusher did a good job on a set of Yamaha carbs for my kid and is a lot closer to you. I won't dis Greg's ATV because he has give me some great prices on parts over the last several years and even helped work some shocks for my Dad's race car a few years back. All that said, go to Crazy, he is a lot closer. EDIT, LOL, crap I just seen this was two weeks old, add face palm here.

I bet Tonik will still think it sucks.

I used to dive for the fire dept. and the Treasure Cove in Niles used to have some killer deals on dive gear. I haven't been there in 20 years but it may still be worth a look.

Back up for air after a year, I hate to throw out good stuff.

The front tire was about 12 pounds low, rear was about 5 pounds low. With the front tire off the ground the steering was stiff, the wire guide that holds the handlebar cables/wiring in place along the frame seemed a little tight so I bent it a little bit and that helped. blueskeyes, if you are talking about a rear tire, it has a 180/55 ZR17 on it now. First chance I get I will have to take it for a ride and see if it made a positive difference.

If you need it, I have a new in the box K-N filter for that bike. Just let me know if you need it, cheap.

Thinking of swapping cams in the bandit...

There used to be a real good Suzuki forum with great Bandit coverage, this was a popular hop up and I know you can do it. However I would like to ask what your opinion is on what might be actually gained since the Bandit tranny always seems to need another gear? -
Sorry Cdubyah, I just seen this, do you have a twin brother in Newark? I had talked to a guy from that area that could be your stunt double.
-
Will do, thanks.

I tightened the pre-load on the spring to stiffen the shock and I believe I put a couple clicks on the compression and or rebound, maybe too much. I'm bigger rider but non aggressive and the suspension was soft even to my 150 pound son so I did these things to try to stiffen the ride a bit so it wouldn't bottom out on expansion cracks. I don't remember the steering being as stiff last year as it was the couple rides it has been on this year, as a matter of fact my son was the first to ride it this year and he was complaining how he felt like he was fighting the handle bars.
-
If I over stiffen the rear shock on my Bandit 1200S will it make pushing/pulling the handle bars feel like pulling a boat oar thru syrup? I can't remember if it felt that bad last year and it feels ok when sitting still so I don't think it's steering head bearings, any input from the suspension guys?

I was thinking I ran across him before but probably not. Thanks

Who is the guy in the middle of that pic, closest to the gold bike?

Looking for carb help on a 2000+ GS500F - Cleveland
bandit12 replied to BMMW's topic in Tech and Tips
Looks like you got it covered with help already but CrazySkullCrusher can handle the problem. -
I'm glad I didn't decide to try to make it over, the wind over on this side of the state was enough to put you back in the garage.
-
Ah, that sucks, but couldn't you wait until after Thursday to post this?

CrazySkullCrusher, I will save your number and let you know how the Seafoam works. I actually thought of contacting you as you are the closest that I know who don't mind carb work. Thanks. Have a good friend that is a wizzard with bikes but with his health the last couple years I don't want to bother him.
-
I have no idea when the last service was done or how long it has been sitting but we will give the Seafoam a try and see what happens, can't hurt right. I hope that it works and it's not a more serious problem, I have near zero success rate working on a four carb set-up. Doesn't make sense that I have done many singles and even a couple two carb set-ups and they worked but four carbs and I fail.

My son bought a 2000 R6 and it seems to have a jetting problem, it has at least a LeoVinci muffler but not sure about the head pipe. It starts and runs at idle but if you give it throttle and let off it blubbers like a fouled plug as it revs down. It also blubbers while riding if you stay at a steady throttle or speed, sounds as if it has a fouled plug but if you rev into it it seems to run until you steady at a throttle position. I doesn't seem bad under power but holding steady or letting off it's like it has a bad plug. Does anyone have any ideas. Plugs, coil, jetting? .

Hey Casper and whomever, I logged out well over a month ago and I can visit the forum just fine. Well I can't see some pics and I can't post anything of course being logged out. I decided to try to log in again tonight and I still have the same problem, as soon as I log in and try to change pages I get the HTTP 500 error. I can't get a screen shot of the error but I copy and pasted it, ______________________________________________________________________________________________ In this spot there is a lower case "i" inside a blue circle, then these words, The website cannot display the page __________________HTTP 500 Most likely causes: The website is under maintenance. The website has a programming error. What you can try: Refresh the page. Go back to the previous page. ^ More information This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying. For more information about HTTP errors, see Help. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ As long as I am logged in I can not change pages, I have to log off, then google "ohio riders website info", then open the google link to that page. Then I can log on and click on this thread and then I can reply. If I try to go anywhere else on the forum I get the HTTP 500 error and have to log off again and start over with google. Like I said, if I stay logged off I can change pages at will but can't see a lot of pics and can't reply to threads. This is the only forum that hates me at the moment, after all these years I am still a computer dummy, I can go from one forum to another but don't have a clue how to change most settings or what most of this stuff means. I am not much help in getting help, sorry. I will have to log off to get back here so if someone answers me it might take a while to respond back. Insert double facepalm smiley here.

This sucks, I have to google my way in and play games to get to a different topic. Any try to go to the forums page results in an HTTP 500 error code and then I have to google in again. I tried to log out and clear the cookies but that didn't work either, screw it, I give up.
