I think I will just kick in a little extra money and find an upper level tire. Maybe I'll luck out and I can find a tire sale like I did a couple months back when I got a Battlax BT45 for $112 out the door.

I'm going to see if I can get to a couple more shops for more selection and prices and go from there. This will be for a sportbike so I wanted some more input.

I really hate to ask this now, but did you ever have a video or anything to show how the Jardine sounded. I've been curious and my son just asked about one for his bike. Did you like yours? Over on a motard site a couple years back they were claimed to be a good tire for motards as well as dual sports. I know that is a different type of game so I thought I'd ask because there is a dealer close that sells them.

Idea taken, I've had a couple people sit at a traffic light and just look at me not being able to see my turn signals and me waiting for them because they had the right of way.

OK, anyone still have a set of '97-'00 front turn signals laying around? Maybe you took them off to put on a set of flush mounts or them puny little cat's eye type and the OEM's are sitting on a shelf, nows the time to dig them out. I have a set of flush mounts that are totally useless in the daylight and would like a set of OEM and hopefully they still have the rubber boots that go between the stem and the fairing.

I had a neighbor one time that was about three fries short of a happy meal, actually he really enjoyed to partake of the home grown smokeable plants. Anyway he bought a boat and backed it into his yard, stretched the ski rope out and jumped on the skis and wobbled around while his wife sprayed him with the water hose. IIRC that was the only skiing he done that summer, lol.

That's actually what I was thinking, I'm betting that most of the ones on hand were for the smelly factor when they were bought.

So how does this old rifle shoot, is it very accurate? A lot of times after you clean 20 years of lead build up and dust from the 50's and 60's these old rifles will shoot pretty good.

Do you think it would work to use old candles instead of the paraffin? I have a bunch of candles that the wife didn't want or didn't use after buying them and they were shuffled to the garage for storage.

I've heard of some silly things to get the bolt out of a rifle but never had to take the trigger group off to remove a bolt. There is a Savage/Stevens shotgun that the trigger group comes out of the gun still attached to the stock, bored designers maybe.

Hellmutt, it was for the youngest son, his money and he does what he wants, lol. Bullheaded like his mother. He still spent 3K but this bike only has 13K miles and is very clean plus he got a few accessories. I looked all over it for signs of being down and there are no gaps or miss matched plastic and no scrapes that I could see. No engine noise and looked to have good clean oil. It could use a front tire soon. Here is a pic.

Swarms of them back in the early 80's on the backroads were thick as thieves. I remember they sounded like getting hit in the helmet with rocks and beat the crap out of your chest and fingers.

There are a couple guys on here that have the ISSC MKII's so here is a question. How do they or will they cycle the Remington, Winchester or Federal bulk pack ammo? I have these and some older Remington Thunderbolts and Golden Bullets from the 90's that are a little better reliability rate than the stuff from the last few years that I could try in one. Does anyone have a Sig Mosquito to add their opinion of it to the mix?
