Back in the late 80's a friend of mine bought an RC10 and I bought his Kyosho Salute. It was a 4x4 dune buggy that was hell on ball joints, especially since I had to drive two hours to get repair parts. I have a cousin thats into planes.

Had a TT-500 that I ran all the country roads on and one day I couldn't get it started, so I decide to bump start it. Put it in 2nd gear and take off running down the driveway, I got a pretty good run at it and jump on the seat sidesaddle and dump the clutch. When I jumped on the bike and put my one foot on the peg I kicked the shifter into first, might as well have just stomped on the brake because the bike lurched to a stop tossing me off balance. There I am sidesaddle with my feet on the left of the bike and its falling over on the right side, we hit the ground and my friend said I did about the ugliest fat boy in gym class backflip you ever did see, lol. I could probably write a book on me, motor vehichles and why I'm lucky to be here.

You did good, I think he will remember what not to do next time. My dad had custody of two little girls ages five and six and he took them in the drug store with him and told them to keep their grubby mits off stuff and they could go to mickey d's. When they were leaving he said to them You guys didn't kipe anything did you and they said no pa-pa we didn't kipe anything. About half way to micky d's one of them said pa-pa, whats kipe mean so he looked in the mirror and started to tell them and both of them had a sucker in their mouths, that they kiped. He made them both go in the store and tell the clerk what they did. I still get a laugh at him telling me about that.

Sorry, I just seen this, he decided to keep it and after all that has happened he is glad to have it.

Took the wife for her first shooting/training session in close to 19 years. She didn't do bad, kept 3/4ths or better of her shots on a ipsc target. I took her shooting way back when and she didn't like it, then a few weeks back she says she thinks she wants to get a CCL.

Supposedly, none of the three involved finished the required class time.

LOL, I just found out they all passed the class, even the shooter, LOL.

The guy I talked to from the class said that the Ruger MKll misfired, the shooter waited, then pulled the bolt open to eject the shell and it didn't completely eject. It was hanging out of the gun like a stovepipe and the guy let go of the bolt while trying to shake the round out onto the ground. When he let go of the bolt and it slamed shut on the rim that is when the round went off and hit the two people beside him. I agree with swingset in that not enough energy to penetrate two people when not in a gun's chamber and building pressure in the barrel and I called BS to my friend and he said thats the story they're sticking to, lol. Although stranger things have happened I'm just glad that nobody was seriously injured or killed.

Supposedly a rear chunk of the first person's thigh and the second persons calf. both were treated and released from what I was told last night.

The guy that text me said he had already shot and was watching the others take their turn and he thinks that the shooter pulled the trigger as he unholstered for a draw and shoot exercise and thats when the others got hit. Lack of paying attention to what he was doing.

I just got a text from a friend, there is a CCW class in Coshocton right now and some guy shot two people in qualifing. The guy put a 22 round thru one person and into another, they're on break while the deputy sorts it out, UGH. Luckily no deaths.

Now your hooked, just don't let yourself get distracted. Reloading is something that I enjoy doing, it can get expensive but you shoot a lot more for the money.

Tragic indeed, a two or three year old got very lucky at Woodbury's about ten years ago when he was hit with a ricochet inside the store. All I can say is may God be with this family, I can't even imagine whats going thru their heads right now.

+1 brn6604, "A much greater concern to firefighters is standing below a heavy safe in a structure compromised by fire." My guess is that if its hot enough in your safe to cook off a round, the part of the house above it would be in the basement with the safe and nobody would be standing in there.

Since you brought it up Conrad Dobler was an offensive player for the St, Louis Cardinals and was voted NFL's Dirtiest Player. He was late getting to the stadium one time because of a car accident and Howard Cosell said he was late because he had to stop and set a bus load of kids on fire, lol. A couple rounds of trap shooting helps relieve some stress but its addicting also, if you can get into that sort of thing.
