  2. Outragious overdraft fees from Chase

    I stopped banking with them for the same reason. I noticed on Wednesday night that I had a Gas charge and 2 checks that were pending in the amount of like $250.00 and that I only had $75.00 in my account. This was on a Wednesday night. So I got $200.00 cash and went to the bank as soon as it opened Thursday morning. I told them that I think by now I'm negative but I had $200.00 CASH to bring my account above 0. I asked if there was anyway they could not charge me the fees because I had the cash in hand to bring the account current. I was also getting paid on Friday through direct deposit. They told me that there was NO WAY that they could refund the charges. They ended up charging me $90.0 in fees which put me back in the negative and caused me to overdraw another $30.00 on Friday even though my direct deposit went in at 12:01 am. Technically I was still in the hole at 12:00am. I understand that the fees are there for a reason and that it is my responsibility to manage my money properly. I was pissed because I made a strong effort on my part to do right by them by bringing my account current and they made no real effort to cut me a break. I had banked with them for 4 years and NEVER! asked them to refund any fees, yet they still didn’t work with me. $120.00 for being overdrawn form 12:00am on Thursday – 9:00am on Thursday. That’s BS. On Friday I walked in talked with the same manager and closed my account. Fuck them!

    Wow!! Looks like you're keeping bussy. With all of the pictures you've been posting and the nice weather we are supose to have next weekend, it's inspiring me to detail mine. Keep up the good work.

     

    You should offer 1 helpfull detailing tip with every time you post a finished car.

    How does that take away from the fact that you'd have to have very large balls to do that? Not to mention some serious coordination.

    It takes away from it because by design the second one was ment to do that. You don't need big balls to learn how to operate something in order to make it due what it was built for. The 1st one was just a guy with no ramps ;)that took balls. Either way thay are both cool, I just personally found the 1st vid better.

    The Sunoco on Georgesville Rd sells 93 for the price of 89 on Wednesdays and 89 for the price of 86 on Sundays. Those are the 2 days I fill up. It's only a 10 cent savings per gallon, but every bit helps.

    Well I'm a pretty big Pittsburgh Penguin fan so I had to do something to show off. Here are a few pictures of my Truck....

    My G/F and I were at the 1st day of training camp last year for the Penguins. We were in town for the weekend to watch the new talent (Jordan Stalls 1st season and Malkins) we had a hotel and the next day we were going to visit my family and then to Kennywood Park (an amusment park). After practice there were a ton of people waiting around for autographs and since we had nothing else planned for that day other than sit in our hotel we decide to hang around too. There were crowds of people mobbing all the players as they left all asking "where's crosby? When is he coming out?" About 2 hours pass and most of the people had gone. My G/F was disapointed that she wasn't able to get Crosbys autograph. There were only like 2 people left when she said let's just go to the hotel. We'll I decided since we had nothing better to do why not just wait another 15 minutes. About 10 minutes pass and I realize we are the only car left outside of the igloo. Then this Silver Range Rover pulls into the parking lot. It was Colby Armstrong (a former Penguin player) He pulled up next to the exit and out walks Sindey Crosby! We were just sitting in the truck so I pulled up to the exit, my G/F was shocked. Crosby and Armstrong nodded and said hey! So my girlfried asks for their autograph. They were really nice and Crosby said nice truck. Then it hit me! I didn't have anything for them to sign so I asked if he wanted to sign it. He was a little confused so I said yeah, go ahead and just sign the tailgate, so he did. His next comment was "well I've never signed a truck before that's kind of cool"! It turned out to be a really good weekend. The next weekend I took the truck to a body shop and had them clear coat the signature. Over a year later and it's still there! GO PENS!!!
