  1. Was hoping for something FPSRussia-esque. You tricked me. Didn't bother turning on the sound.
  2. That whole story is full of fail. How would a louder horn help?
  3. That's what I hear for cars too. Now that Geico has changed my policy to exclude track days, I think I need to switch to State Farm before spring.
  4. I was gonna say, I've heard this all before. A quick Google shows it going back to at least 2007. Lots of stories about what they're gonna do, none easily found reporting actual results. All I wanna know is: do the snakes actually go for dead mice? EDIT: I guess so: "Unlike most snakes, brown tree snakes are happy to eat prey they didn't kill themselves"
  5. As long as the compound stays the same you're good to go. Supposedly some compounds can contaminate each other. I hone and scotchbrite the rotors when switching compounds (such as OE to race or vice versa) but then run one set of pads across multiple rotors.
  6. Tax stamps are for pussies.

    Gun Storage

I have assult guns laying all over my house loaded 30+1 condition zero. Never know when you're going to catch the neighbor's dog in the act. Better not bring yo kids. I might build a vault for my BCG though.
  8. Similar to you I run 110 leaded in my two-strokes and 93 pump in my four strokes. The race gas for neither the octane or lead, just for jetting consistency and lack of deposits. The 110 leaded won't hurt anything without an O2 sensor or cat, but would probably just be a waste of money in the 4T. Might be in the 2T too, but since my 125 will do a lap and a half on what's in the float bowl, the cost is negligible. Race gas was also pretty much required when I raced karts and any alcohol content would fail the fuel testing. As has been discussed on here before you pretty much can't get pump without alcohol in it these days.
  9. I hope others cancel. I ordered a rifle because I wanted a goddam rifle.
  10. Of course it sucks just as bad to get to the MX track and realize you grabbed the bag with roadrace gear in it. Bought different colors but forgot which was which. Anyhow OGIO makes good stuff.
  11. Are these american-made or pakistani mail-order? I searched but can't find much on the internet besides what you posted.
  12. DMG told the manufacturers to fuck off and promised to bring their NASCAR magic to the series. Now they're asking the manufacturers to pay to put it on TV. Don't blame SPEED. I get live fucking supercross in HD more often than not. What is AMA superbike now anyway? Spec Yamaha vs spec Buell?
  13. Unfortunately in the worst decision ever they put them at opposite ends of the week.
  14. I plan on heading down for supercross. If there is anything else must-see down there, I didn't see it last time.
  15. When is the last time anybody saw Blazer Aluminum 9mm? It's like they quit making it.
  16. I'm sure I wouldn't notice it either. Just saying someone may have intentionally set it up like that. Adjusters out isn't necessarily bad unless you're running the stock chain and sprockets. P.S. Or maybe it was just installed by somebody who wanted to err on the side of not removing too many links from their brand new chain.
  17. If the gun is properly shouldered it's not gonna hurt ya. A lot of times I miss I realize it was because I took my cheek off the gun. Sometimes I move the gun faster than my body and it comes off my shoulder - once in awhile I crack myself in the cheekbone with the knuckle of my thumb actually but it's no big deal. Once I get to that point I know any form has gone completely out the window and I'm just being lazy.
  18. Moving the rear wheel forward or back is an often overlooked fine-tuning thing. Yes you can remove links to move it forward, if that is what you prefer. Just make sure you will still have chain slack afterwards - easier to remove links than put them back in.
  19. That would be the right way to do it.
  20. I think it's funny that the hand pulling the curtain back looks like a thumbs down. I see that your pic indicates twist-off removed, so what's the verdict? Since they prominently feature the 6.0% ABV, I would be afraid it's just their Bud "Platinum."
  21. Because 1994 was pretty much pre-internet and it was much more difficult to rouse rabble.
