    Aaron,

I live within walking distance of your shop, and had nooooo idea you guys were there until last week.  I was in Scotty's barber shop, flipping through one of those local advertiser flyers, and saw your ad.  He's a rider as well, so asked him what he knew about your shop.  Said he'd never heard of it, either.   We tried to figure out roughly where the shop was based on the address and kind of figured it was somewhere near the furniture store/ Tire Discounters.

Good to see you on here.   May see you in the shop sometime.

  2. Bell RS-1

Readily available on clearances, also.    I bought the Bell Star Carbon after having an RS1 for a short while, thinking that the RS-1 was good, the Star must be better.   For the money, the RS-1 is a much better deal (but I DO love my Star).  Fit is true to size.    I've had Arai's, Shoeis, Sharks and never considered Bells before.  I will in the future.  First.

  3. Wow you garage is clean!

Well, at least one side of it is...

    Mines the same way.

Stuff I like on one side (clean) and stuff the wife drags out to the garage so that she doesn't have to look at it (and expects me to magically do somehting with it) on the other side.

  4. Oh my gosh.  So much of this thread is true.

We've still got a few sprinkled around here (Franklin, Hamilton, Sharonville).

Gotta say the I get the crave about once a month, grab 3-4 cheeseburgers, and about an hour later wonder what I've done.  About five hours later the farts hit.   Worse than Taco Bell.  Okay, maybe not "worse", but pretty similar.

Had the chicken rings once.  Well, one ring.  It was like eating a salt pellet.

First time I had them was 30 years ago when we moved to Dayton.  The one in Miamisburg by the Dayton Mall.  High school.  Drunk.  And I still remember being able to feel the burgers sitting in the bottom of my stomach.   White Castles and Strohs.  Mmmmmmm.

And yet I'm sure to hit the drive thru and grab some within a week.

    I <3  WC.

  5. Miamisburg Home Depot

Twin pack 4ah usually $99 (usually $99 for one battery, but around Christmas they do a BOGO deal)

This location has the twin pack for $50.   May be at other locations,  I don't know.

These are the big 'uns with the meter on the front.  P122 is the part number.

  6. Had a Cub Cadet RZT50 to mow 1.25 acres.  Bought it new, owned it for eight years, and sold it when we moved in 2014.   Wouldn't buy another one.  Impossible to run straight lines.  I'd pay the extra for a striper, just 'cuz.   Had a Kaw engine which was okay.   No major issues with the mower overall.  They made changes to that model a year or so after I bought mine (2006?).  Bigger front wheels and some other small tweaks made it a better machine.

Yeah, commercial is probably the way to go.

Borrowed a couple of neighbors mowers as mine sold before we actually left the property.  One was a Deere lawn tractor and the other was an old commercial skulky mower.   Borrowing those did reinforce to me that if I ever have a lawn large enough for a riding mower again, I'll def buy a zero turn again.

  7. I filled a few holes in my day. 1 thing I didn't read that i like to do especially on like 1/4" screw or molly holes. Is to take your hammer and tap a divot in the drywall, and then sparkle. Also when I was younger and rented, sometimes there would be some fist sized holes here and there in the drywall. And I used newspaper to fill the holes, and then cut a piece of old paper grocery store bag. And mud it over the hole, let dry and then another thin coat or two over top. Then apply paint, and cross fingers on collecting deposit back! Believe it or not, the holes were hardly noticeable when done.

I think you used to live in my current house.   Prior owner put layers of duct tape over a 1.5' diameter hole then painted over it...

From what we've found, his two fixes for any household issue were duct tape and spray foam.  If those didn't work, he gave up.
