I have no bumped my head, but do you know the PIA that job is? No. You dont. I do. I have worked it, i have worked those 80 hour week, I have the physical repercussions of it. And if you think that every single employ makes 85K then YOU have bumped your head. Most people work 40 hours.. and make 45-50K a year. To me, that doesnt sound unreasonable. Its a comfortable living for someone who maybe doesnt have an education. Then there are the people who chose to work those 80 hours a week all year round. Those are rare people. They are the people who are take every last bit of overtime that is offered any time. These are also the people who are living outside of their means, bought 200K houses, 4 cars boats.. whatever.. When i started working at GM, one of the first things the UAW rep told us was DO NOT abuse the money you can possibly make here, you can count on 40 hours a week, but beyond that, OT may not always be there. Plenty of people ignored that. Dont be naive, and assume you know what you are talking about, in a situation you know NOTHING about.

You're an idiot. a 85K year is 52 weeks of at least 80 hours a week. (yes, i know this, i used to work there) The people who ARE making that much work thier asses off.

Good lord, she is only 11 weeks old, and she is already getting spayed? I have always waited till 6months right before they get thier first heat... but thats just me.. They just seem so young to have major surgery. /shrug Anyways.. does any of this help to maybe keep her? Or are you still going to give her away?

might also help to give your other dog some alone time, like one of you take the puppy for a walk, while the other hang out with the older one.. might reduce stress, as well as wear the puppy out a little too.

you also have to realize that a puppy is goign to annoy another dog thats settled into being the "only dog". My dog was 3 when i got my second dog and she hated her.. wouldnt have anythign to do with her.. today they run around and chase squirrels.. Trust me when they get aggressive with each other, you will know.

yes, that would have been a BRILLIANT idea GM then could drop everyones pay to 7 dollars an hour, and gotten rid of all health care benefits. Having worked at GM, and most of my family works/retired from there, i am well aware of the innards of the system. Its not perfect, by any means, but the UAW DOES HELP. If you have NEVER been a part of the UAW, you have no room to talk about what you know nothing about. I however do agree that the UAW should be slapped in the face for not bringing ways to help the the auto manufactures get better. A pay cut of some sort is definitely needed, and there is no reason why the employees cant pay for a good theier benefits. HOWEVER, if you think the union is the only thing holding these companys back, then you are a fool.

Something i heard, and though is hard to live by, but makes sense.. is your 401K for your retirement (long term) or short term. If its long term.. leave it alone. imho.
