MY dad picked up one of these on ebay pretty cheap, and so far its been great for him. He can hand it to my 79 yo grandma and she can use it pretty easily, and it takes a decent picture.

A Canon Elph isnt exactly an investment camera. Its called a throw away digital camera. What is his camera (model) You have ISO settings on that camera, that would be the first thing i would play with and learn about. If you want distance you need a real camera. (Im sorry but thems the facts). There is a nice upgrade that isnt quite the price of a full DSLr called the Canon S5-IS (ther is also a downgrade from that, called the S3-IS) This might be more in the direction you are looking for. This is a great camera to throw in bag and take on a trip for snapshots, but its not going to give you all these "fancy" shots you are looking for.

Isnt average Square foot supposed to be ~114$ right now? When we were researching building a house, that was the average about 3 years ago.. but things are different now. My best suggestion is to talk to a few general contractors, and a few builders. They will have a good idea of average costs per sq ft.

I, personally, like shoppping at GE. Yes its aesthetically pleasing, Yes it has better produce and meat. I can actually find quite a few products there, that are generics that actually taste like the real thing, and most of the generics i buy there, taste BETTER to me than the real thing. When i clip coupons, and actually take the time to go thru what it actually takes to get a better deal on groceries, i have always done way better at GE. Krogers is just as overpriced as GE, and i almost refuse to shop at walmart. I NEVER have to wait in line at GE, i dont have to deal with idiot trashy people at GE, this includes the cashier, the employees and the customers. I actually am not concerned about stepping a foot away from my cart when i am in GE, because they have a POLICEMAN who is in store at all times(at least the one on rome hilliard does). And if i am have to buy some groceries elsewhere, its either meijers or target. In fact, if i had to get groceries and walmart was 5 mins away and target/meijers/ge was 20 mins away, i would STILL go to target/meijers/GE

I need my bathtub back. Help. The drain on this bathtub keeps coming loose. I have tightened it down , but it wont stop leaking.. its not gripping the actual drain pipe and i can move it up and down on the pipe, no matter how hard i tighten the nut. there is a rubber gasket that fits over the drain pipe, and would fit inside the trap pipe which should stop it from leaking, but it just wont tighten down.. any thoughts? quit clicking every damn ad under the sun. you have a spy ware issue, please go to download.com and install Spybot Search and Destroy and CCleaner Use Firefox, and the add-ons, use adblock, and use no script. Honestly if your pop ups are that bad, you will probably have ot just format.. but try sbybot and CCcleaner, see if you can clear it all up.

Im in love with Canon XSi, but you gotta realize you cant just ask "what should i buy" Your either a canon person or a Nikon person. Decide that then buy. Also, im sure sony makes a good camera, but i would personally stick with the canon or nikon.
