  1. Also to note, if this is a single shot action vs internal mag you cannot add bottom metal. You'd need an action cut to to accept a mag.
  2. You can get a Garand in .308 too by the way if you're concerned about having another caliber. But... I was at Cabela's at Polaris over the weekend and they had 500 rd cans of Privi .30-06 in an M2 Ball config for $400 including the .50 cal ammo can.
  3. M1 Garand. End thread.
  4. I fully believe him, read the bill yourself. By the way, CCKRBA has also stated their support for the bill. I'm just disappointed that there's already a video circulating of his statements. Now that the left knows that some pro-gun orgs will support this bill I fully expect them to try to attach every piece of shit ammendment possible.
  5. A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything. IMO, your self-proclaimed libertarianism is just an easy way for you to continue to be a gutless turd.
  6. Let me know if this is still available. Need something for ammo storage.
  7. My trust is mentioned in my will, which was also set up by the same attorney.
  8. 1. I'm depending on a law firm, who has setup hundreds of non-revocable living trusts, wills, etc and has represented them personally in criminal and probabte courts. Not to mention, if I need help with it later on I have a person I can call and ask a question. 2. I'm sure you could assume that Quicken's doc have been thoroughly vetted. I prefer to not assume and would rather have a person that I can deal with. 3. You might be right, I have no information other than my own personal preference to suggest one option is better than the other, nor have I suggested such. What I provided was an accurate description of my own personal opinion and experience with the matter, which while it may differs from yours is no less correct than yours. 4. To protect the people that might assume ownership of the trust and these items should I die, there is nothing regarding a trust that is a no-brainer. Should something happen to me I'd prefer to leave my wife a better option than calling the 800 number for Quicken customer service.
  9. I understand your point, but there's still vulnerabilities with an improperly written document. The least of which of these are additional unecessary delays in waiting for your tax stamps. Also, any decent lawyer that creates your trust will also provide clear procedures as to how to ammend your trust to add/remove people, items, etc. As people in your life and the items you own change your trust may need maintenance. The ATF isn't the place to go for legal advice.
  10. Attorneys will say yes, although I know people that have gone the quicken our legal zoom routes too. This was a relatively cheap option for a consult with an actual attorney. For me it wasn't worth the risk of 10 years in club fed so an attorney was a no brainer. I also called a local attorney in Columbus named Derek Debrosse. He's the GC for Ohioans for Concealed Carry. His rate for an NFA trust was $700. Seemed like a nice guy, but i had to pass.
  11. I had Bailey Law Firm in Medina, OH do mine. I don't live in Medina, but was referred there by suppressor vendor on Snipershide.com. I believe the cost was $200, met with an attorney for about 30 mins, ran to get some lunch, and it was ready for me when I came back. Be sure to have all your successor contact info ready when you go there.
  12. There's no shortage of M1 Garands on the market. Even collectible WWII - Korea models can be had for less than $1K. I honestly can't imagine ever buying a brand new M1 Garand considering all the used guns out there right now. Guarantee that if you buy a used Garand and take care of it that it will NEVER be worth less than when you bought it. No way you can say that buying a brand new gun.
  13. How is this not discrimination if the policy holder is doing something completely legal?
  14. I've seen some mentioning on other sites that suppressor manufacturers at SHOT Show were stating that we might see the CLEO requirement for suppressors go away in 2013. Approval from CLEO would no longer be required, but you would still be required to notify them. But... they were also saying that if you have an NFA trust, anyone named as a possible successor of your trust would need to be fingerprinted and have a background check. Anyone else heard anything along these lines?
  15. http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/8738 I think it's BS that the papers can legally report these people's names.
  16. BW wings are terrible. Tiny little pigmy looking things that are WAY too overpriced. Roosters FTW, no firearms signs there that I'm aware of.
  17. A 22LR with a stove pipe, get out of town.
  18. I'm not wearing a suit, but I might wear the new Delta Epsilon t-shirt that I just bought at Dale's!
  19. She was definitely misinformed. If they didn't have any it was purely because they were sold out. My local Walmart hasn't had Tula 7.62x39 for months, and it was way overpriced when they did.
  20. Has anyone heard of any local efforts related to this? I'm seriously considering taking a vaca to picket the statehouse in show of my support for the 2A and peaceful gun ownership. Who's in?
  21. I have a used radiator that I bought as a backup to a race bike. It's a low mileage piece and is 100% functional, but it's not brand new. I think I paid $130 for it. I'm looking for about the same. IM if you want it.
