Took my son to the range (new albany) for the first time last week and we had a great time. He is fixated on rifles with scopes (probably from battlefield and COD) and I'm considering an inxepensive rifle for X-mas. Anybody looking to get rid of a .22 (LR or mag) or .17hmr? ...or insights on the best place to look? One thing I can say about the FPS...I didn't have to teach sight picture...just breathing technique and he didn't miss the paper at any range. Good groupings, too. With rented guns.

Took my son to New Albany last night for the first time and, in addition to my .380, we rented a CZ75 and P22. The CZ was a sweet shooting gun, but I think there is a Walther in my future. Fired 200 mini-mags through it with no failures and really accurate. I'm a big fan of 3 dot sights. And I'll pick up a 10-22 for the boy (he wants to shoot something with a scope - he prefers to snipe in COD, too )

Did belts and valves today with vf1000ride's help (not sure if he's on here) teaching...it went without a hitch. The little Italian sexpot is running better than ever. Not to mention peace of mind (broken belt - BAD)

Might as well be. Mosied in to the Pony today for an oil filter. Walked out with said K&N, plus twin Scorpian Slip-ons for the SS and BozBros twin cans for the R1. I will probably end up cutting the Scorpians down 3-4 inches at some point this winter, but I am very pleased and spent about 25% of retail.
