  4. the bowl looked like a slaughter house a bit ago...had a few bourbons last night and...um...forgot to eat.
  5. hypothetically speaking, a couple of tires placed on a tree stump and ignited will do a credible job of removing said stump..better do it at night. and I'm told the flames can shoot about 30 ft.
  6. wow...just wow Scrap Tires The Ohio EPA strictly enforces regulations concerning the transportation of scrap tires. The law defines a scrap tire as a used tire that is not wanted or is thrown away. Scrap tires are solid waste, making it illegal for citizens to dispose of tires anywhere other than a licensed solid waste facility. The law also prohibits burning of scrap tires. No one may transport more than 10 scrap tires at a time without a registration certificate. Businesses or government agencies must obtain a certificate from the EPA prior to allowing an employee to move scrap tires. An exception to this regulation is granted to farming operations and those who process aggregates, such as rocks and stones. Companies engaged in solid waste transport may haul up to 10 tires per load. Individuals and businesses involved in the retail sale of tires may transport up to 25 scrap tires per load without certification. Anyone found guilty of unregistered transporting of scrap tires, illegal disposal or burning of scrap tires may be required to pay fines raging from $10,000 to $25,000. In some cases, punishment can include imprisonment. The Division of Solid and Infectious Waste Management administers the state's scrap tire regulations. 12. Dam you...I just spent the last couple of hours looking at gov't auctions. I will never get that time back!
  13. I caged this morning, too....but went home at lunch and rode back.
  14. He should have certainly been evaluated before being moved. And moved in a more secure manner that would have prevented his being dropped. Hell, he wasn't even completely on the stretcher before they dropped him. I've watched the crash more times than I would like and agree, he was in bad shape - Edwards and Rossi hit him hard. But his chances of survival were greatly diminished by his treatment.
  15. Why didn't they secure him in the area and dispatch a trauma doc to the scene...he shouldn't have been moved., let alone, "Hey, lets throw him on a stretcher and run across a grass field. Oops, we dropped him"
  16. Reading this and watching the video just pi$$ed me off. http://www.twowheelsblog.com/post/7879/simoncelli-like-tomizawa?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+twowheelsblog%2Fcom+(twowheelsblog)
  17. Watch the race before you make a judgement. He was dicing with Bautista for fourth, was fighting a low side and that sent him across track into Edwards and Vale...thankfully, Bautista and Hayden had already made it past. He was a hell of a rider and was fighting to win to the end. raw does not mean reckless. At least he died doing what he loved.
  18. Horrific...you know Colin and Vale were stuck and couldn't go anywhere...and watching Marco not moving and his helmet bouncing down the track?
  19. Thanks for the heads up! I don't have to worry about it, though:cool:
