    Recoil

leaning backwards with most of her body mass over or behind her rear leg.....couldn't have ended any other way than that.
  2. What a self-centered, conceited, narcissistic, pompous A_Hole he is. Now if he could just convince his girlfriends Nancy & Dianne and his 'Bro' Chuck to leave with him, there just might be hope for our country to rebound from all the damage they have done.. "Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid announced Friday he will not seek re-election to another term, saying he wanted to focus on bringing Democrats back to power in the Senate rather than his own re-election. Reid, 75, said in a statement that it would be "inappropriate for me to soak up all those resources when I could be devoting those resources to the caucus, and that's what I intend to do."
  3. H O L Y C R A P......Glad I'm not dating her....couldn't afford the restaurant bill....afraid she might even eat me.....more than I want her to..that is.
  4. Another option would be something like this...... http://www.gunsafes.com/Modular-Safes.html?gclid=Cj0KEQiA37CnBRChp7e-pM2Mzp0BEiQAlSxQCFcL6Lbvry-kQzmdjJBZrUW64B4PSwdzAAg8jEkZqyUaAj_18P8HAQ I have seen a number of different options like these in the American Rifleman Magazine.
  5. what you may think is new is sometimes old technology just being re-released. And some old technology will just blow the sidecovers off some of the newer machines. A prime example is my 1983 Vf1100C V65 Magna. One of the first 10sec 1/4 milers with some very advanced tech on it. Still scares the hell out of me when I crack wide open the throttle in any of the first 4 gears. I either am looking at the sky or smoking the rear rubber.
  6. Join the crowd....I only have one that isn't a vintage.
  7. Hey Guys....Thanks for the pics.....I appreciate it......looks like they had a nice selection of bikes there this year.
  8. I have nothing against Glocks ! Except their size and price. They do everything OK and nothing really Bad. They don't Excel at anything, yet they don't make the bottom of the list on anything. To me they are a good middle of the road gun. BUT.... I do think they are oversized. I thought that the G42 would make a great edc for my sister, but it is so big compared to the LCP. Price is like the gun...larger than the LCP also. I originally was going to get the G36 for myself, but ended up with the Springfield XDs for the same reasons. But Glocks are here to stay and they have a large following for sure....but so does the iphone...... which I would trade in a heartbeat for the Samsung S5 any day of the week.
  9. Very interesting....but I am not sure that it should have all that motor noise. Other than that, look like about the average "1st" flight. if not even a little better since no crash involved.
  10. BUMMER....not going to be able to make the show or the party this year. Could someone that is going do me a big favor and stop by the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC) display and take some pictures of their bikes and display for me. I would totally appreciate it ....and for those that are going to make the after party....all I have to say to you folks is..........P A R T Y ON G A R T H ! ! !
  11. Are you using DJI Vision Ground Station and if so, have you flown in total autonomous mode yet or are you just using LOS control?
  12. Just curious as to what you have done to modify it. Have you checked what your maximum range is yet?
  13. Stopping Power.....Yeah, I guess everyone has bought into that philosophy at some point and I will even admit that I find myself falling back into that thought process once in awhile. It isn’t the size of the gun/ammo that puts the perp down, but the shot placement. You can put 6-7 rounds of 45 talons into a persons midsection and they can still end up killing you. Unless you hit the vital organs or major arteries/veins it don’t matter what caliber pistol you have. Perfect example is a State Patrol officer putting six 357 Magnums point blank into a heavy set fellow (fat) and the guy shooting one 22 magnum at the officer hitting him in the shoulder patch which then went into him between his armor and severed a major artery and the cop bleed out at the scene . 22 won over 357 Magnum.
  14. You put Not Work Safe but you really should have put Not Eye Safe
  15. Went & saw it tonight. Thought that it was a very well made movie. but as I left the show, what was going through my mind were three or four questions....who was the marine that shot him...what was his motive for the shooting...what happened to him ....and finally, did that episode of his shooting the other sniper actually take place as portrayed in the movie.
  16. I think someone warned everyone about NOT getting the Bio one..I have NEVER liked them.... just give me the push button and in I am.
  17. yea, like the guy who sold his girlfriends mattress & box spring with her cat hiding in the box spring. lol
  18. Now what I would like is a cabinet like that but with a gunvault keypad on the back(hidden) so that is is still quick access yet secure.
  19. or hire some ganga'strs to protect your crib
  20. And it has nothing to do with the fact he is Muslim either. One of my local dept.’s posted this on their FB page. It is a shame that the mainstream media won’t run this kind of story but the will make every one of these people who get shot the victim of another cop shooting. http://www.fox10phoenix.com/clip/11014328/activist-critical-of-police-undergoes-use-of-force-scenarios
  21. Whatever. Each to his own. I'll keep my gunvault that holds a ready to go 45(*) + extra mags and high intensity flashlight while you fumble for the key and hopefully insert it and unlock your drawer and then retrieve your gun. I sure hope that you don't drop it in the dark and then have to fumble around to find it. Adrenalin flowing you will find that handling that key will not be as easy as you think it will. It is obvious you have never had a break-in. I have and at that time I did not have a weapon close at hand. Our only saving grace was that they didn't come upstairs where we were sleeping. Since then, I have had a alarm system installed, and I have the gun close at hand (safely locked in the vault which is bolted down) and have practiced middle of the night access of all. (*) XDs 45 with Tru-Glow Tritium Night sights and Crimson Trace Laser, loaded with Black Talons.
  22. seriously ! i hope not. please tell me that was satire.
  23. only problem i see with those is you have to use a key to unlock it. I can just see myself fumbling with a key in the dark trying to unlock it to get to the gun. there are some nice hidden gunsafes out there but i have yet to find one that will give you quick access like the gunvaults do and still be a piece of nice furniture. http://www.covertcabinets.com/?gclid=Cj0KEQiA8rilBRDZu_G8hszXraoBEiQABlB9Y0CkQmB9pryZCU-iWEgAbBclad_XkeZSSyFrCYCI-bUaAqam8P8HAQ http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=secret+gun+safe&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=50433982836&hvpos=1t3&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15944153918273439254&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_21yc1dxij4_b
