  1. Man. I'm interested. Will have to check my honey-do list first...I'm subscribed and will firm up either way
  2. welcome! LOL, I thought the title said Chasing a Joint...oops...d@mn Freudian Slip...
  3. I have everything on State Farm - house, both cars, bike, trailer, etc. Also I have a Rottweiler and a Doberman. As a Package deal, it's the cheapest. I could probably do the bikes separately, but when I've had to do a claim on the car and bike on separate incidents (both being repairs - not totaled), everything was done and back on the road in less than a month. Hassle free.
  4. Cool! I'll be there Sunday with the family.
  5. I have a Blackberry through work so I feel left out of all the Reindeer Games all the time...
  6. Pretty much exactly what I would have have done in the past. hoping to get a refund from some idiot who lied about the condition and then took 3 weeks to send because he was busy is not someone I'd put a lot of trust in. I'd ask for more than the $15. target for $30, settle for $25, and then sell them and get $40 more. Then you are only out $5 plus shipping if that was not part of the $70.
  7. hmmmm...The foam earbuds (i.e. JVC Marshmellows) are the only one's I've been able to make work, although mine are some sort of Sony model. I can leave it at a respectable volume while stopped and have no need to increase the volume while at highway speed. Foam covered or a noise cancelling earbud seems to me the only way to ensure I don't have hearing damage. Every other kind of in-helmet earphones or speakers I would think would eventually do irrepairable damage since you'd have to crank it up. Although, Magley's option of externally mounted speakers would be the next best option for sure. But then when I come to a stoplight I'd have to lower the volume so other people don't hear me rocking to ABBA or Kenny G.
  8. with speakers wouldn't you have to really crank up the volume to get any decent sound on highway speed? with or without ear plugs. I'd think that you are hurting your ears by having the volume up so high.
  9. The only problem with me owning this bike is that when perched on this my fat beer belly would ruin the lines on this beauty. I'd just detract from the graceful lines. So the intended effect would be lost. It would have to be just a showpiece in my garage at that point.
  10. I have that problem constantly. Getting married and 2 young kids ensures you are never in this situation again. I have the Scorpion helmet and the anti-fog is good. Great when new and eventually wears out. I usually will have either a new helmet by that time or have gotten a new clear screen due to the high mileage my helmets see causing scratches from road debris.
  11. I'd go for option 1 if you can spare the coin. It's easier to swap out complete wheels than remounting tires each season.
  12. Anyone here or know of anyone in the North Canton area that does Drywall work? 70% of my 2k sqft home has the textured plaster walls. It's rather dated and one thing I promised my wife was that I would eventually get rid of it. Of course I didn't realized how involved that would be so I think I'm better hiring out this job for the sake of time and peace. This involves a family room and living room with vaulted ceilings, a hallway, and a 1.5 story foyer. I'd like an estimate of both skim coating (assuming 4 coats) with mud over the existing wall and sanding down. And another quote on just removing the drywall altogether and replacing with new boards and skim coating. If anyone can recommend someone you've used or know please PM me. We are gathering quotes now and would like to get started within the next month at the latest.
  13. I love both. If I had to choose only one, I'd choose the track, but I'd be sad. I don't have the free time nor limitless funds to track every other weekend (kids, wife, honey-do-lists, work, etc) to keep me satiated. There are just those days when the morning sky is a bright baby blue, the wife is taking the kids to the in-laws, and I've got a few hours to kill. Firing up the other woman, pulling on my gear, and rolling on the throttle. Heading to new roads with the purpose of getting lost both literally and in the moment. Listening to nothing but the pistons firing at my firm yet gentle command. A better day is when you meet up with friends and talk up the usual bravado over a greasy burger in a long forgotten town. Reliving old adventures, weekend trips to WV and the Gap, and the errant bird that pummeled into the side of my friends helmet. The track to me is such a rush because I can be ripping open my steed at 9/tenths rather than with much more reserve on the streets. Feeling like I am an AMA Rookie on the fast track to sponsorship. Even when the 50 year old grandmother of 13 drags her knee down on my inside line and reminds me, politely, that I don't know shit; it's nirvana. The long legs of my ride wearing her fine italian shoes dances while I apply the nylon lipstick from my knees onto the dark dreamy asphalt-laden lips... How and why would anyone be monogamus? Having a preference I understand, but I don't see why does it have to be mutually exclusive?
  14. DOH! These two are great. Just the sequence of him kicking ass and then kissing ass...
  15. NOICE! That's one of the nicest seat cowl's I've seen! Really makes look like a part of the original bike rather than just a seat replacement!
  16. That's even worse. So the system let him out so he could do more damage!

  18. +1 Earnest money doesn't mean anything. It's an old habit that tries to avoid people coming in just for shits and giggles knowing they have no intention of buying. It makes things smoother, but doesnt really matter. Hold firm on the Earnest money, get what you want from the seller, or walk. don't make it personal. You're realtor sounds like a tool and looking for a quick commission. I'd ask to make sure this house is not his or his office's listing. It should have been disclosed already. But there is not reason he/she shouldn't be your pit bull in this. That's why they get paid.
  19. I think Sargent at Arms...That was the patch that Tigs tore off and gave to Clay a few episodes back at least. Surprised not to see Opie at the table. Nobody seems to care about Bobby being MIA... Definitely several curve balls at the end with the CIA and Galindo cartel. Good stuff!
