Ha! He's all heart! Lot of sexual tension still with Trinity. Can't blame him though. I'd "shag" that. Now let's git the fook out of eyeland and get back to pleasantville.

Now this is what I call a reasonable solution.

I've struggled with this dilemma for a while myslf. I just couldnt bring my self to spending $70-$10 on noise-cancelling earbuds. I've always used foam type ear plugs to block out the noise and wanted that same comfort and effectiveness. I tried a pair os skullcandy's and even one's with volume control. But I ended up getting a ringing in my ear from cranking up the volume on the highway. Personally, I use the following: http://www.meijer.com/s/koss-the-plug-earbuds/_/R-136801 It's less than $12. Yes, that's right. I know most people say you get what youpay for, but sometimes simplier is better. This one came with two different bud sizes. Also, the buds are foam, just like my normal earplugs. So the fit in and then seal up when they expand. Never have to change the volume on my iPod regardless of if I am at a stop or 80 on the highway. In between songs, the blocking of the ambient sounds is almost as good as just plain old ear plugs. They are comfortable. And they are cheap. They stay in my ears pretty well unless I accidentally tug on the cord. But now I just throw the plug behind my neck rather than in front and then bring them back over my shoulder into my chest pocket. If wearing my Ogio backpack, I slip it into my shoulder strap pocket. Of course, when pulling off the helmet it does tend to pop out, but then again, I don't care since I'd be pulling them out then anyways. For sound quality, I think they are just find. I've had worse and better. But I am not an audiophile so I don't take my word for that part. For $12, it's really worth a try IMO.

Sorry to break it to you, but after you graduate, it doesn't get any better with "a job". Let me know if you need any more pick-me-up commentary

in GENERAL, batteries have a 4-6 year life span. Considering your 2002 MC is at the upper end, the cells in the battery just can't hold the charge as well as a new one. Now with that said, I had one last over 8 years and one only last 3.5 years. Not sure why it ran like crap though after you got it started. Unless you weren't riding it nad just letting sit idle in the garage. Start with the battery. If problem persists, then you'll want to check the other electrical doo-hickies. If all is good, then invest in a $35 trickle charger if left unridden for longer than a week. It'll help keep the cells in the battery stronger. GL.

Want a free copy of "The Ride So Far" by Lance Oliver?
mojocho replied to Casper's topic in Website Info
diggity-diggity, count me in. BTW, a totally random comment. I'm new to the forum, but in the short time I've always thought Casper as a wise, handsome and strapping young lad. Just thought I'd throw it out there. Just thought I'd mentioned it now and it is not meant to sway you in any way positive or negative. -
Thanks for the list. I'm not a veteren, but I'll definitely support these guys for their nods of appreciation.

sneak peek sure made it sound like that. I know he is going through some personal moral struggles. All the more reason to to quit your life long before giving up your own flesh and blood. The whole kidnapping Tara thing is lame. Fr Kellen is a hypocrite. Killing people, leader of the Army, and kidnapping babies. But he has to keep a promise to JT? not buying it. I'd have been hard pressed to not have maimed the Fr. and shot the hinchman.

You did several things I would not have: 1. bought something from Thailand 2. you shipped it back without tracking abilities 3. you assumed people are honest did you pay with a credit card? You can file with your card company, but iit'll be tough without proof you sent it back.

amazing how smart he is to get that far (not the bragging part) and only if he had it focused differently.

I'm a stickler about plugs. Many people say they are fine and ride street miles on them. But if you think about the fact that the only thing keepin you up while leaned over is the two small contact patches from your tire...and one of them is defective... $ for a new tire is cheaper than new plastics and medical bills. just my opinion. For track days, i wouldn't dream of it. Outside of the plugs, street tires are what you want imo. As a novice, most people won;t be going fast enough to keep slicks warm enough even with warmers. if anything, your street tires would be stickier at the novice pace. I could see where slicks would be nice for intermediate and advanced though.

Big Plus one. I know from experience. I end up doing more STT events since when I was in Michigan, Grattan and Gingerman were the closest venues and mostly run by STT. So it really depends on what you want. more one on one or more free time. I will say that I never had a coach at a NESBA event give me tips or ask me to follow unless I asked. And once I did ask and he never showed up? STT coaches tend to "do their job" and tap their tail for me to follow when I need better lines. Either way, welcome to the addiction.

I appreciate all the comments. Pretty divided opinion.\\ I got the tat last night: The image is a Tiger "protecting" a Rat, Rabbit, & Rooster. I was born in the year of the tiger, my daughter was born in the year of the Rat, my wife the Rabbit, and my son the Rooster. The rat is more toward the back so that one is cut off in the pic This is on the right calf. Artist is Blair from Art Bomb in Massillon, Oh. I personally think it turned out great! Especially since I gave him a lot of discretion on what I wanted. Obviously the animals and said I wanted the tiger in a protective stance. Black and gray and not cartoonish. And he came up with this and loved it as soon as I saw it. And for the record, I tipped Blair for the following reasons: 1. Great job as an artist in creating the sketch from limited direction 2. He was pretty fun to work with 3. patient as I needed a couple of breaks during the session (to hide in the bathroom and cry a little) 4. It looks freakin awesome 5. I plan on going back.

@ Hollywood: who was your artist?

sounds like that's from personal experience?!

A friend recommend Art Bomb in Massillon.

Alright. good comments from all. This is the first tat I'm getting and so far the artist has been pretty good to work with. Really listened to what I wanted with a lot of general directions from me. His sketch was nothing like I was orginally thinking, but it is actually a lot better than anything I thought of. That to me means he was listening to what and why I wanted it as well as being a good artist. I guess I'll call an audible at the end. If I plan to go back I'll tip, otherwise not. The one I'm getting is going to be around $300 so don't really relish the idea of throwing more money. But also not sure how much of that he is going to actually get in his pocket. appreciate the comments.

% or flat amount?

Just curious what the norm is in the Canton, Oh area. Seems to vary greatly by area/state.

Funny. There is a post about the new Ducati Diavel that everyone threw up on, but then here, everyone has a hard on for this one. Granted I'm a closet Ducatista wanna-be, but I don't see where the performance of the CB1000 tops the Duc? Given that the price would be a major difference. Just a curious obeservation. It's about preferences, but I think the lines of the Diavel is more unique and flowing than the CB1000.

Big +1 what are the odds though that this happens twice in the same county? I'd understand if the total votes on each issues were the same and they were both about the same subject. And as IP said, Local elections are almost more important than presidential or senate races. At least from the perspective that there is more immediate and direct impact to yourself.

you pretty much summed it up Fonzie. It was a much more exciting episode than the last. Definitely got me excited. (but then again I'm a married man with two kids so the last wind storm we got had me blushing too). While ont he subject, maybe I'm a pervert, but anyone else notice that they usually say TV-MA (LSV) for Language, Sexual Content, and Violence, but for yesterday it was only (LV). Yeah...I'm a perv... Jax didn't argue too much with Chibs on the death sentence. Will be interesting to see what happens. I understand why Fiona didn't want Gemma to kill Jimmy, but why not at least tie him up for the boys to "question"? Wonder what McGee will be sayin to O'neill. CAn't believe he'd be OK with all this. Is Gemma really going to let Jax tap his half-sister rather than spill her secret? Seems better to nip that in the bud unless she is hoping they leave before anything happens. Stahl is going to get written out. Not in enough scenes to keep her character interesting. Liked her tat on her shoulder though. Loved Hale's political BS commentary. Appropriate for yesteday's election day nd politicians in general. Can't believe he was stupid enough to get taped. If it was me, I'd a grabbed that phone out of her hand so fast and smashed it to bits. Bet Unser persues Hale on the info he found and will get killed by Hale. Like Meanie said. "Kill em all in Belfast". Good shit.

I will say that I was expecting more action for an 1.5 hour episode. I'm trying to figure out the point of Fr Kellen adopting out Abel. I can't figure that one out. And good points about the dorky prospects and the Gemma comments. I just cant imagine them cutting her out of the show. It wouldn't be the same.
