once again calculators are not always right, and the left to right rule applies when you have two of the same type like 2 additions or 2 division ect. and saying that pemdas(order of operations) doesnt matter is like saying traffic lights dont matter just go. if you want to get worked up over a math problem go for it.

ok so i talked to one of the top engineers at goodyear, he even said its 2. he said he understands how people get it wrong because they dont know pemdas. i guess this thread shows who payed attention in class and who didnt. "my teachers taught me wrong if thats the case" no you just didnt listen.

Casper what did they teach you guys in school, its not pedmas. in PEMDAS you multiply before you divide, thats where you all are screwing up.

ok seriously, its not 288. ive been in school for engineering for 3.5 years and have been through several advanced math classes. According to pemdas (parenthesis, exponents, multiply, divide, add, subtract) thats the order in which you are supposed to do the math. so there for you start with whats in the parenthesis which is (9+3) which equals 12. now you have 48/2(12), a number outside of parenthesis without anything in between means that you multiply so that is 2(12) which is 24. you are left with 48/24 which is 2. BTW to those who used a calculator, they are not always correct ask any teacher or professor. there are several operations that they are not able to do.

Group rides are "safer" because if you do go down someone is there to help. wether its someone looking back or the next rider. i remember when uncle punk went down and im glad that me and ben were there to help. Scare the crap outta my gf being her bday ride but the worse was still to come.

when im alone i usually just putt at the speed limit, but i still sometimes speed up for a good turn if im in the mood. when i ride with others i adjust to their pace unless they are to crazy/fast for me like hutch, 1000rr, and JCMathis. when i ride with danballa i just cruise at 80 on the freeway with him unless he sees a hot chick or someone driving faster and follows.

yea we are just waiting on it to close, and i already miss having a bike but priorities first. funjunkie i agree completely, i still flag when i see them. i also hear from people that the dont really keep their word on anything. many cases they sell a bike thats rigged and say sorry to hear when that person comes back. plus they are over priced. im only place that has my interest from bike prices and service is independent motorsports. if i decide to get a loan for my next bike its definitly with them.

lol tunas gone man, i prefer stock bikes anyway. not a fan of stretched, custom painted, chopped up bikes.

my buddy has a Skyline GTT R34 with a GTR twin turbo swap(very rare) and he bought it down in florida for 40k and he has a 300zx tt that was appraised at 27k by a dealer, thats to much money for toys IMO. let alone these guys who put that much money into a car let alone buy the car itself. If i had that much money i would live like i do now with the exception of all debts (house, school) paid off.

thats what i did, and thats what made the bike do a bull riding like jump. it was my fault though because i was following my gf to close(15 feet) at night and didnt see it until it came out frm underneath her car.

i hit a dead coon at night and it almost threw me off the bike. i got lucky and it didnt do any damage just got a little bit of blood on the lower fairings.

so much i could say, so little im allowed to say.
