  1. Actually, you are right. He needs to readjust the geometry up front then adjust the sag. :) He can always adjust his triples to raise the front as well to compensate for the back if this change is too extreme.

Stock suspension can work for a lot of riders, it all depends on weight and riding style. I just sent my forks out to GMD to change the valving and bought an Ohlins TTX shock for my bike as well. Spring is on order right now but I'm 125 lbs so the bike was way too stiff for me.

But on my first bike, I was happy that the suspension was tired because it lowered the bike for me and it made me more comfortable as I'm short as well (5 ft 2).

So his suspension could be fine. Ok but that's another topic altogether.

Yea im not exactly normal size either being im 5'7 and 130lbs. As far as the handling i have noticed that the bike doesnt flick as fast as the 180 did, but it could be that im getting used to the new tires.

  2. Awesome bike, i was checking out the rear in the last picture and it could make most people like it too. (you people are losing your touch)

I think the kawi green looks pretty good, im thinking debating which color to paint my zx7, its currently a ugly spray paint orange(well actually its sanded to a grey but still)

  3. +1 on what Hoblick said. When he changed mine last year it felt weird as well but my old rear was squared of cuz I was a chicken shit and to scared to lean the bike over. Now the square tires feel weird. You'll get used to it.

Yea i bought the bike in december and it was a shinko that was worn in the center from burnouts and wheelies.

  4. there are some of us here who remember the national speed limit going to 55 mph......

Ive seen some of you people on here, im sure some of you remember cars not capable of 55mph. Ahh the "when i was ur age stories", gotta lovem. My mom has a picture of my dad posting a gas price of 1.15/gallon with a line of cars, think that was like 20-30years ago

  5. Roketas are.just as good as any other scooter, the pain in the ass part is finding parts. My dads got a 2007 roketa 250, but doesnt like riding but wont sell it either.

  6. ^ i wouldnt like leaving the safety off....its right by the trigger and takes a fraction of a second to turn off before taking a shot...in the heat of the moment, with your nerves going crazy, etc, i would be worried about having an AD while retreiving the gun from the safe...i know my nova has a very light trigger with not much travel, i wouldnt take the safety off until i had a firm grip on the weapon....just have to practice making the safety second nature....even hunting i leave it on until im ready to take a shot, because it takes no time at all to take it off

Im a mix of your theorys, safety is on during storage but if im searching for someone i have it off but dont put my finger on the trigger til im ready to shoot.

  7. Im reconsidering to keep a few shells in the tube now, as far as the gun i already have an 870 12g. As my first line of defense, i have 3 labs that all stay in the bedroom with me, if anything gets in the house they let me know.

I was originally waiting for a gun from dale, but my friendly neighborhood has had someone going around breaking in.

  8. Im just curious as to how you guys keep your home defense shotguns setup. When i say setup i mean do you have ammo chambered and ready, have ammo next to the gun, or keep it ready to be pumped to shoot. Also explain why you choose that setup.

I personally keep ammo next to it and will load a few shells into if i go to look. I wont pump a shell in unless im ready to fire or holdem up because i dont want to give my presence away.

Also what accessories do you have, im considering a led light to blind the snot out of them.
