  1. For starters the real world isn't Pawn Stars, 99.99% of the shops out there will not give you fair value for anything. Most of them wont even give you fair scrape value for gold and silver. Once you figure out what the "market value" is on something be prepared to hear pennies on the dollar from most of these places. My mom when through this many years ago with my Grandmas jewelry, she went to a local jewelry shop and had several items appraised and it cost round $100 for the appraisals. Once the appraisals came back they said these items were worth a total of $2500 to $3000. BUT.... The shop was not interest in the items to buy, but, they offered her something like $300 to buy them as scrape gold and jewels. She said screw you basically and took them to several other shops and pawn places and got the same song and dance with the appraisals in hand. Think the highest offer was $350 from a pawn place and they only offered that after she said she had a $300 offer from the first shop. I never knew what my mom ended up doing with the stuff till she passed away several years later and we found all the stuff and the appraisals in her fire safe. I believe my sister has it all now. So if your looking for pocket change you barking up the right tree, if your looking for some kind of pay out at any kind of market value you might as well save your time and leg work.
  2. Damn!, I already have my trips planned out for next year if I would think of joining you.
  3. Did another pig out on leftovers last night . This mornings weigh in of the damage for the weekend was up 3.5 lbs so I'm back to 240. Got some work to do the next couple weeks.

  5. So I've had a lazy couple of days and ate a few things I shouldn't have. Climbed on the scale this morning and I'm down 2 lbs to 237. Wtf? But I'll take it.
  6. I'll be down, as long as nothing else comes up. Right now I have no other plans.
  7. Thanks for the tip, when I initially decided that it made sense just though maybe I was wrong.
  8. Should probably do my abs with upper body instead of lower body workout. I work my abs the other day when I did legs so today my abs and legs are sore. But then when I went to work upper body today i didn't realize how much of my abs you use to work arms and shoulders. Ouch, ouch. I got through it but it was definitely a learning curve
  9. I piss a lot already, I drink probably 1 1/2 gallons of water a day, every day. Ive always got a water bottle with me. I have a 1 quart bottle at work and I know it gets filled 4 to 5 times every work day the probably another one at home. Maybe it's all water weight and I should dehydrate myself.. I'm totally kidding.
  10. Finally recovered from my upper body day, hit the legs and stomach Monday and today is day 2 and barley able to walk up steps. Do upper body again tonight. Weight is still stalled at 239ish, but I know I'm build some muscle now so as long as its not a gain. Might do nothing but protein shakes then a light dinner the week after new year, that is 6 days leading up to vacation and just want to see what happens. My goal of 229.9 before 1/8 prob isn't going to happen but id still like to see 235.
  11. Sounds like Andy and Justin are in planning mode.
  12. With working 60 to 70 hours a week, the holidays and my up coming vacation I'm strapped for time myself. I just wasn't sure if I had missed a post or thread about it.

  15. I work out in whatever work shirt I had on that day and a pair of cheap Walmart shorts. Even my shoes are $16 Walmart specials. I do like UA polos and t-shirts every day wear though.
  16. Do you need work out gear or like me and just need to replace you entire wardrobe because nothing fits? www.underarmor.com has some really good deal today up to 40% off of some really nice stuff. You have to search for the discounted stuff but worth it and there is FREE shipping. Just bought myself and my son some $12 shirts.
  17. I'll do some cardio tonight and some leg work, then hit the upper again tomorrow. Sounds like a plan.
  18. So should I wait another day or hit it again tonight 48 hr later
  19. OK did a pretty heavy upper body work out on Wednesday evening. Woke up Thursday morning and felt NOTHING and didn't feel anything all day long. Kind of wondered if I did something wrong or not enough. Woke up this morning(Friday) and everything was a little stiff but not bad. It is now almost 2pm and my bi''s, tri's and chest are burning like a mother f'er. Is this normal? I haven't real done anything strenuous all day. Why did it take 36 hours before I felt the effects? And my plan was to hit it every other day but being sore today should I wait at least a extra day for muscles to recover. Just thought it was strange how it all played out.
  20. No doubt do what works for ya. I was just saying I can't eat that.
  21. When I eat peanut butter I consider it a cheat, it's usually my go to when I have sweet craving. Too many carbs to eat it daily for me.
  22. Ok researching on doing a little more lifting, not much just some entry level stuff. My question is, I know they say you need a rest day inbetween lifting days. Can I do cardio on those rest days of does my body need a complete rest?
  23. I could never get into recording rides or any of that but I do enjoy watching what others post.
  24. My wife has had a 60 to 70 mile commute for the last 4 years, I don't know how she does it. She loves her job though. Mine is 9 miles and I still hate it.
