  1. It's a Saturday again and all I can say is I'll try again but it never happens. I'm ways working Saturdays
  2. Wonderful ride today. Did about 18 miles round trip from Mount Vernon to Howard. I left the family behind and did the last 4 miles at about a 15 mph pace [
  3. My kids galaxy tab 3 won't load it either, I just laughed at thier displeasure.
  4. I just hate refilling it and usually the water was piss warm and keeping it cleaned out when not using it. Don't know I think just throwing some bottles on my bag is easier. But everyone's different.
  5. I found my camel back to be more of a pain on the ass than it was worth on the bike. Went with a extra ram ball and a cup holder if I need it but usually just chug a whole bottle of water at every gas stop and keep 3 or 4 in my bag.
  6. They were the first ones I had when we built our house. Rates were reasonable and was happy for a few year. Then lightning struck our house and fried every piece of electronic we had and the furnace and range and fridge. Plus we weren't home at the time and it threw several breakers one of which was to the sump pump and result was water to our finished basment. Filed a comp claim and it went smoothly and they paid everything with out any problems. Was very happy with everything till our policy renew. They quadrupled our rate. I was like WTF? It was a comp claim and at no fault to us. I called them about it and all they would say was our rate was increased due to reassessment of our property. I called around to get quotes and most eveyone else quoted us what we were paying before. And the one agent said AF does that to people hoping you will not renew if they feel you are a liability, and maybe they felt out house would be prone to more lightning strikes. So I left and never gave them another chance. We went to Cincinnati insurance for several years and they dropped us last year because they decided they no longer want to insure modular homes. But they did me a favor because I got on with Keystone National for a couple hundred less than I was paying. Had a $9000 claim last year due to storm damage and they replaced my roof and all the siding on the rear of the house. Got the renew last month and it only went up $150 for the year.
  7. Ok I just discovered what some of my tire problems may have been this year and late last year. And I take everything back I said about my $4 HF gage. Went out to the garage to load the bicycles up for a ride in the morning and decided to check the tires with my new gadget. Filled them up to 50 lbs and love the way the new gage works other than I think I need to thread lock the threads on the chuck pieces. Curious on how accuate the new gage id I get out my old tusty HF gage out of my bike box. The HF gage reads 45 lbs. At first I was thinking the new one was shit so I got out a selection of pencile gages and a digital slime gage. They all were reading real close to the new one the digital slime one being balls on what the new one said. Now like I stated above I have tested my HF gage against a high end gage my uncle uses on his drag car so I ran down the road to his house and tested them all. The new one was balls on with his, the digital slime gage was with in half a lb and my former trusty HF gage was reading 10% low at all pressure ranges. What I guessing is when it was newish the HF one was accurate but over the years the springs or seals or what ever on the inside has worn and it's lost its accuracy. So in the trash it went. Now many if you know over the last year or so I've been bitch ing about tire wear on my bike. Any any kind d of under inflation on that big heavy turd will accelerate tire wear. And at 42psi on ny HF gage I was accually running around 37 or 38 which explains ALOT. Lesson learned you get what you pay for and never assume one tool is reading correctly all the time.
  8. Haven't gotten out much due to me and the mrs. work scedule but were hitting the Kokosing Gap trail tommorow riding from Mount Vernon to Gambier maybe a little further to Howard if the kids are up to it. http://www.kokosinggaptrail.org/TRAIL/aatrail.htm
  9. Got mine today and I'm really impressed with the quality. The chuck, fittings and gage housing are made of brass and the gage has glass on the from and brass rivets holding thr face on. The gage says its made in USA but the box says china, maybe just the gage is made in usa and the rest in china. Has a sticker that says is accurate ti ANSI and California regulations. And it comes with a life time warranty, you just have to ship it to them with $2.50 for return postage.
  10. here is a Maraduer in you price range, they look similar to what you want. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcd/5648329196.html
  11. Now If I throw some IFs in here those dates could work for me. IF we aren't working weekends at that time. and.... IF I don't use any call off days between now and then, I may be able to go. I would simply call off work the 17th & 18th Would be a last min decision Id have to make.
  12. always loved the look of the Suzi M109R especially the Blue one with the white stripe down the middle.
  13. Someone needs to take this off my hands before I find too much idle time and get a dremel out and start hacking on it to make it fit my bike.
  14. Ill be out of vacation as of the end of this month, had to use it or loose it because of taking FMLA time off next month.
  15. Think some of you are missing the point of jims find. Not only can you check the tire pressure with the devise you can also fill and release pressure from the tire remotely with out having to reach down multiple times into the wheel and rotors. So clip it on the then do all your doings from a distance of the wheel.
  16. Yea I'm stupid obsessed about tire pressure I'll check it if ambient temperature changes more than 10 deg.
  17. I'm just saying I got lucky, not that there is any thing wrong with what you have.
  18. Wasn't the battery, somthing in the led screen was loose or f'ed up. It would work somtimes if you tapped it on the table or ground.
  19. I loved my digital slime till it died.
