Kicking around a shit load of ideas right now. From a bike trip to a week with the kiddos or even with the old man.

Waiting for my approval on the week of the 25th, would really like to do a new England trip that week.

Looks like what ever I do will be the week of July 25th-31st. My wife is having a surgery the first week of Aug. and I was informed that if I requested any FMLA for that they would be taking it away from any vacation I have remaining. So I gave them a big FU and requested the rest of my vacation at the end of July.

Still haven't decided on anything yet. Only thing on the table is a UP, Canada, Vermont trip with Mike but there is a big "IF" involved in that plan. I'm seriously considering a trip to Mt. Washington and on to Quoddy Head lighthouse and maybe dip into Nova Scotia for a bit the last week on July. I would really want somone to go with me for a trip like that. Need to figure somthing out before all the good weeks of vacation are taken.

I picked up a old ass tomtom rider one to replace my car Garmin I was using. I knew it was dated and had its line of issues but I wanted to se how I liked it before I dropped big money on a newer one. It has all the basic functions the newer ones have like blue tooth to the sena and preplanned trips upload. But I find I don't like it for many reasons. I still go to my phone 99% of the time. I keep it on my bike as a back up and or a secondary unit but don't use it much.

You must have been right behind me. I was literally there when it happend. Cuisine along and all of a sudden everyone's brake lights came on. Heard a Bang and seen dust flying in the air a few hundred yards ahead of me. I came to a stop a then heard screechig tires behind me and said fuck this I'm not getting sandwiched. Got over to the right sholder and rolled down to see what happened and seen 15 people headed towards the suv and there guy at the suv yelling "were ok, everyone is ok". I dialed 911 and they said they had already recieved multiple calls. There was nothing I could do so I went around everyone that was stopped and motored on. You had to be only minutes behind me

Trailed a guy in a Nissan coming back through KY from the gap. We were doing about a 95 pace for about a hour till I needed gas then I was pissed that I would loose my blocker as I call them. Got my gas and got back on the freeway and trooper had him pulled over about 3 miles up. Kinda felt sorry for him till he passed me again 8 or 10 miles later and it was on again till he exited the freeway 20 miles up. Goodtimes

I understand how the whole trackers and cookie s thing kinda works when you are shopping online and they tailor the ads you see by what you are shopping for. That doesn't bother me. I just wish that it would also recognize when you have made a purchase of said items and are no longer interested in looking.

Made me 2 sets several years ago. Sold one set for what I had into both of them. So kinda like getting the ones I kept for free.

That's sucks, yea I have the 20th off too but the wife dosn't. The 21st is my birthday so that's how we chose to spend my 40th. Rolling up with a local group of cruiser buddys and staying right on Clifton Hill on the CA side.

This hoopla about not posting rides on a piblic forum is nonsense. Yea I get it people have gotten tickets on rides. But I find it hard to believe cops have nothing better to do than peruse motorcycle forums to set up speed traps. Been posting rides and routes on this website and a few others for the last 5 or 6 years and never has it became a problem. Delusional paranoia in my opinion.

Mount Evans was cooler than Pikes Peak in my opinion.

Most of the ones marked "Difficult" on the main corr or off of Dorr run are usually just a small section that would be tricky with a heavy bike. A quad or dirt bike the word difficult would be laughable. The only areas of dorr I'd avoid on a heavy bike would be(and this is going off of a couple years ago) deer stand loop. CCC trail and the stretch between P1 and Mine shaft(known as the Bog).
