That's cool, I get that. But you would be surprised about how many people don't realize these events are for profit and when they ask for volunteer help, sponsers and donations just to add to their bottom line it's almost takes it too far for me.

You realize most of these events are for profit. Yes they donate some money to charity just to make it look good but they are far from charity events. Not saying you wouldn't have a good time but I've talked to quite a few people that want to tell me "it's for a good cause". All the though mudder and color run events are all about the same a very small portion goes to charity.

I don't blame you. If I needed a good primary unit I wouldn't get one either. But as a secondary or one to keep in the house I might.

This one is only 4.7@90 but if you want to go super cheap. It's the same one my old man has.

My old man has had one of the smaller HF oil filled compressors in his tractor shed for a couple years and has had no problems with it. He uses it frequently to blow out his mower deck after every mow.

Only thing I can recommend is if you can afford it, go bigger. Never thought I'd ever need a big air compressor but since my late father in law gave me his big ass 80 gallon 2 stage work horse I find new uses for it all the time. Not saying you need that big just saying you can never go too big.

I posted this a while ago and everyone seemed to have some off opinions of it.

Got to use my heated vest this morning and it was cozy warm. Wish it were a tad longer but that's not the vest fault that I'm a sasquatch. Still for the price I'm not complaining at all. Only bought it for a rare occasion and it will do nicely for that. Realized when I got to work that my rear vent was unzipped on my jacket so I could have maybe not needed to run it on high had it been closed. Think the temp was around 39 when I left the house and it was 41 at the bank when I rode by in town.
